Curtain rod had been down for quite awhile, finally fixed and patched the old mounts, then put up a nicer rod with some valence we found at a yard sale.

Stayed in the Marriott-Williamsburg where the VAST 2007 PDI was held. Wasn't able to check in until after 5:00PM. Upon taking a shower the next morning I was put off by how dirty the bathroom was.

The shower curtain rods and rings were rusting and bent up.

This costume was a perfect age-detector: Anyone of "a certain age" — i.e., anyone who remembered The Carol Burnett Show — who saw this costume immediately collapsed with laughter. Anyone even a few years too young simply had no idea what it was about.

"She was the Good Witch" is a handpainted wood finial doll that I created a little late for Halloween last year. The wood finial I used is actually from a vintage curtain rod. Her arms and legs are orange and black beads.

Since I was a little too late for Halloween last year, I decided to get a head start this year and list them in my perpetualplum etsy shop now.
