The original was black and white, but I found that I wanted to have a shot that was more than just black and white. I found another shot where she was looking at the camera the same way and copied the eyes into this photograph. He lips were a nude color, so I just colored them red in photoshop. That ended up taking me a lot longer than I had anticipated, it was hard making it look like lipstick!

I've been wanting to get some shots of hair extensions I've done for a while and things kept falling through, but finally I got a model who would get the hair and do the shoot.

I had ordered body wave extensions and the whole ordeal was such a disaster, they send me straight hair and didn't send any of the beads for application I ordered and about a hundred other problems. I had wanted to add some body wave extension pictures into my portfolio, thus the purpose of this shoot. I had to curl the hair with an iron instead, which wasn't bad, it took less than an hour. And she had so much hair, so I was happy we could bust it out so quick.

Needless to say, since the company refused to resend me the proper hair, I don't do business with them anymore. It's just a shame, they lost me another client that insisted on only getting body wave. she wasn't willing to wait for me to order more hair. She was going to be an amazing model, so I am very disappointed about it.

Apparently, the white balance on my laptop that I edited everything on, is a bit off. I finally went to have some of my photos printed and found that they came out too yellow looking.

I've done most of my work in the past on another computer and hadn't considered how changing everything to my laptop could mean a difference in the appearance of all the colors. So hopefully I've evened out the tones in the picture and future pics to reflect how they are supposed to look.
