I saw this couple with their backs to me looking out to sea as if deep in conversation with one another! I settled down and waited for this shot for what seemed an eternity. One would quickly glance back towards me out of curiosity, then the other but not at the same time. Eventually, they took pity on me and my aching back!

Taken on the Isle of Lunga.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving any comments or faves, they are very much appreciated.

Jungle Babbler (Turdoides striata)

I have grown up with these birds and the main thing about these birds is that they commonly found in the group and create lots of noise. The scientific name of Jungle Babbler is Turdoides Striata and one of the common Indian names is Seven Brothers or Seven Sisters. This bird also looks like Angry Bird from the famous cartoon series based on birds.

Jungle Babblers have short wings; therefore, they have a short flight. The Jungle Babblers which are found in urban parts are slightly bigger than Jungle Babblers found in non-urban areas. By looking at the current pollution of the Jungle Babblers, it looks that they are on the safe side and presently, there is no threat to them.

I was photographing in a community garden, when I saw a woman with two little kittens. I asked her if I could photograph them. This one hissed at me at first, and then just sat there and looked at me long enough for a few shots. It was so tiny! :)

Stay safe my friends!

"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity."

Quote - Albert Einstein

If you already have a feeling of déjà vu, yes I posted the first shot in this triptych recently and then realised that the 3 shots I managed before a passer-by sneezed loudly, would make a sequence.

Neighbours do like to spy on each other, don't they? The one on the left is doing something strange with his feelers. A minute later, he almost had a handlebar moustache before putting them back to normal :)

Nell Trent, also referred to as Little Nell, is a fictional character in the 1841 novel The Old Curiosity Shop by Charles Dickens. The novel's main character, she is portrayed as infallibly good and virginal. An orphan, she leads her grandfather on their journey to save them from misery but gradually becomes weaker throughout the journey, and although she finds a home with the help of a schoolmaster, she sickens and dies before her friends in London find her. Her death has been described as "the apotheosis of Victorian sentimentality
