cure. these were shot from two sections back. I had to use a grossly high ISO and avoid security. but I made do with what I had.
You can see how hefty the Evilbat is compared to a Mutant Chaos.
We haven't been buying many toys lately. We've gotten picky. I tell Nate, "If its not blowing my skirt up, I ain't buying it."
That has worked well for us. =P
Here are two slabs of bacon, ready to be smoked. These had been curing for about 10 days in a mix including salt, pink salt, mace, juniper berries, and black pepper. After those 10 days, I took them out of the bag and washed as much of the cure off the surface of the bacon. Then I returned the bacon to the refrigerator for an additional 2 days to form the pellicle.

The goal of Blades for the Cure is to use the talents of national and international figure skaters to raise funds to help figure skating families in need due to cancer. The show was directed by Eddie Shipstad of Shipstad Entertainmnet and Damon Alllen. World competitors Ryan Bradley and Jeremy Abbott performed.
