Inspired by the song by the Cure, which is TOTALLY not about this type of scenario, but it still makes me envision something like this whenever I hear it!
the orange bracelet represents leukemia which took my mothers life on january 12, 2010. she fought like you wouldn't believe then she relapsed after about 3 1/2 years of being cancer free. she will always be my warrior and my angel. rest in peace, mom.
nobody should have to experience cancer, it's so horrible. i feel for everyone out there who is going through this sickness.
one day they will have a cure, one day.
My good wife has discovered a cure for her headaches. 1/2 a Claritin and a square of Godiva chocolate. 3/365.
Our boring bedroom. It worked in another apartment with pre-painted walls (not an option at current place), but now, it just looks blah and too shabby chic. This pic is missing a curtain (it was being repaired).
I'm thinking something much more modern and colorful. My ideal would be to paint the room gray, but like I said, no can do. Current plan is this:
1. replace duvet cover and shams
2. get rid of small rugs
3. replace curtains with something more modern
4. artwork above nightstands?
5. make bedskirt (which I HATE - it never stays put) less ruffly or replace
The Cure`s Robert S,mith, doing the Saturday afternoon soundcheck at the Elephant Fayre Cornwall july 1983, We got the train from Wakefield me and my mate Stampy as far as Exeter and then hitchiked our way around Cornwall eventually ending up at St Germans for The Cure. We had a fantastic week and the weather was red hot.
