I made cupcakes and took a million photos...

these cupcakes were made for a kinder fundraising night by myself & a friend! there were about 150 cupcakes and they all sold out!! everything was made from scratch including the butterflys and flowers! lots of work but worthwhile

Here is a set of four cupcake party ornaments I made for some very special people. I ended up making a few more for myself and my mom!

These are made on wooden cupcake shapes with crepe paper, paer, glitter and vintage images.

Red velvet cupcakes covered in white fondant and topped with handcrafted fondant tools including an exacto knife, a hammer, a saw, a wrench, a screwdriver, and a work boot. Ordered for the birthday of a man who owns a successful home renovation company.

Finally, a shot of my cupcakes! Or cupcake I guess would be the accurate form to use. I'm really not familiar with shooting anything that doesn't live and breathe, so this was a bit different for me. It was still fun though! I got to set it all up on my kitchen table and listen to my dad make fun of me for taking pictures of myself holding the cupcakes (I needed actual proof that I baked them), which I took later on :)

I know it's not a very exciting picture but I think it's cute :)

Did this white chocolate cupcake with top for a friends daughters birthday. I made quite a few for their friends as well. I was happy they turned out as I hadn't worked with chocolate before & found it suprisingly simple! The icing was cream chese icing & they were on a 3 tiered stand with a tier of dark chocolate ones too. I was rushed so didn't get anymore good photos.

A dense, heavy cupcake, marbled with chocolate and matcha. Coated with chocolate ganache and frosted with matcha SMBC, which is heavenly, I might add!

My second, and first successful, attempt at SMBC. I obviously need to work on my frosting piping skills, but the texture of the SMBC was so awesome I wasn't even paying attention to the way I was piping on the frosting!

I'm proud to say that this cupcake was the winner of December 2008's Iron Cupcake: Earth challenge, Chocolate With A Twist!
