This unique wrist cuff is made from part of a recycled vinyl record.
It is hand painted with acrylics in vermillion orange with an original design in forest green, and outlined in iridescent copper. The copper has a lovely, sparkly sheen when viewed from different angles.
It would make a sweet and thoughtful, earth-friendly gift, especially for a music lover!
I cut the records to size and shape them around the wrist of a mannequin I have in my studio. That means that it is actually the shape of a real human wrist. The circumference of the mannequin's wrist is about 6.25" all the way around. The cuff is designed for the right arm, but can be worn on the left as well.
All edges have been carefully sanded and smoothed for your comfort.
Easy to put on and take off, it does have some flexibility and can be slightly stretched "open" as needed.
This cuff comes with a little instruction card for how to resize it if needed.
Very plain sock, toe-up with gusset and slipstitch heel flap. Beautiful Koigu that striped when I started knitting it up. Yummay!
This sock has since been finished with a picot cuff. Cast on its mate this morning. Will hopefully show a complete pair soon!
Jacin gave me these for Christmas.
Shes a pretty cool sister.

I made this bracelet today using a pattern design and focal bead from Humblebead's. I love Heather's William Morris Garden beads.
A Pair of silver cufflinks featuring a guitars "Head-stock" the design is embossed & as such stands proud of the surface of the cuff link giving a three dimensional contour. Perfectly scaled down from it's bigger guitar pick brother, with the same attention to detail and quality that we put into our full size playable plectrums. Approx 2mm thick & weighing 13 grams per pair & marked 925, with a torpedeo style cufflink fitting. Antiqued matt finish with black highlighting to give it that vintage appearance.

Beginning the Rock and Weave sock (pattern from Blue Moon Fiber Arts).
The cuff is done in linen stitch, which is really like weaving, and makes very interesting texture.
Knitted wire cuff. Gold and silver coloured wire knitted together, with gold seed beads scattered throughout. Satin ribbon to finish.
This is a fiber art cuff I made with free motion machine quilting. The materials are muslin, cotton batting, vintage laces, organza ribbon and buttons.

I've been trying to make a cuff with bugles and seed beads but it keeps backfiring from miscalculations. Anyway after a few tries the Matrix Cuff was born.
Why I call this the Matrix it's because it reminds me a Matrix wallpaper I saw.
Felted carpal support for the wrist. This 100% natural black wool felted cuff gives such a soothing feeling for the tired computer wrist.
Just slide it on, no closure necessary, its from a natural stretchy wool which was carefully carded and wetfelted.
On top a needlefelted yellow button and greenish crystal bead.
Can be washed by hand in lukewarm to warm water.
Cuff repair on right...damaged cuff on left. Started repair for client, (on sweater her LATE MOTHER KNIT BY HAND FOR HER) and then she decided that she didn't want to pay for the repair...so "gave" her the repair... Call it a mitzvah.
