i just finished the cubbies for my incoming class--i let the babies take their own portraits with my camera. this idea was inspired by everyone's favorite Baby Nora, who made no attempt to look happy or amused when i pointed the camera at her. she did, however, get happy when i let her play with the cam and push buttons. so i pointed it at her, let her hold it and showed her how to push the button to take the picture. i let her do it a bunch of times and picked the best one. i realized it was a pretty great idea so i let all of my new babies do it, which made pretty adorable and also interesting cubbies!

In the brief time that I had this sweater shelving thing touching the floor, Charlie climbed in.

We found this in one corner of the kitchen and are thinking of boxing it in for storage...it's above the weird little closet in the other back room
