"This bronze statue was created by the Irish sculptor Oliver Sheppard, in 1911-12, and was later installed in the General Post Office as a memorial to the 1916 Rising. Sheppard was a nationalist and was part of the Celtic Revival. The statue depicts Cú Chulainn, the hero of the Irish epic The Táin Bó Cúailnge, in his last moments, tied to a pillar with the goddess of war, Morrigu, in the shape of a raven on his shoulder."
Caru’ cu Bere, a true living legend and also one of the oldest beerhouse in Bucharest, was opened for the first time in 1879 in the old Zlatari inn and, after 20 years it moved to Stavropoleos Street, where it can be found even today. Nicolae Mircea along with his family, originary from Medias, had a major role in Caru' cu Bere history. He managed along the years to make of Caru' cu Bere one of the most appreciated divertisment places from Bucharest.
The beerhouse from Stavropoleos Street is a traditional place, where each object has its own story. It is one of the few places in Bucharest where it seems that nothing has changed, and the architecture reminds, to the ones who step into, why Bucharest was once considered to be the little Paris. The mural paintings, the stained glasses and the carved cross-beams are distinctive elements of the beerhouse. The old time party spirit is still present in these days, the atmosphere reminding of Bucharest's exuberance from the XXth century beginnings. The place's symbol is Old Ghita, whose silhouette guards even today the right cross-beam. Old Ghita, the cellar man, worked some dozens of years within Caru cu Bere, moving up and down the stairs to the cellar cram-full with wine and beer barrels together with its unseparable lantern.
These Beagles may look the same, but they were born 33 years apart (1974 and 2007). The photo on the left is of me(aged 3 to 4), Critter(beagle) and Tiger(terrier mix). Cu Chulainn is on the right side.

Nhưng bên cạnh đó, em lại nhẹ nhõm đến mức nhẹ lòng vì từ bây giờ, sẽ có người thay em... chăm sóc anh :)

Anh ấy hay bỏ bữa, ăn không đúng giờ, em nhớ nhắc anh ấy ăn uống đầy đủ và điều độ.
Anh ấy hay đi đêm, thức khuya, ngủ trễ và dậy muộn. Em nên để ý thời gian đi học và sinh hoạt của anh ấy, giúp anh ấy sắp xếp chúng thật hợp lý, nếu không thì anh ấy sẽ rất mệt đấy.
Anh ấy rất quý trọng bạn bè, em cũng nên tôn trọng và làm quen với bạn bè của anh ấy. Nếu anh ấy có vì bạn mà quên em, em cũng không nên ghen và đừng nên trách móc. Đàn ông mà em, bạn bè quan trọng.
Yêu anh ấy, em phải biết thông cảm cho anh ấy, lắng nghe và chia sẻ khi anh ấy cần. Yêu anh ấy, em không nhất thiết lúc nào cũng phải gần kề bên anh ấy, nhưng đừng quá xa anh ấy. Anh ấy sợ cô đơn, khi không thấy em, anh ấy sẽ cuống cuồng lên mất.
Giờ đây, anh ấy đã là của em . Chị chẳng bao giờ có thể có anh ấy thêm một lần nữa, cho dù chị có làm đủ mọi cách.
