The beautiful village fishing village Reine is located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago.

The crystalline arctic atmosphere created a circlular bow around the setting sun here at Alta Golf Club, high up in Norways Arctic Circle.
This was a sunset shot taken looking down, what would normally be the 1st Fairway at the Golf Club. We were actually here to go Dog Sledding with teams of Husky's and had a great time being effortlessly swept around the terrain down to a distant frozen lake before taking in the Northern Lights later in the day!

Crystalline sedimentary rocks can make for an interesting subject to photograph. They form from chemical reactions in which minerals within water form crystals and precipitate out of the solution. Here's an example that caught my attention whilst exploring the landscape around Gallows Point, North Wales.

The crystalline waters of the waterfalls flow gently through many bends in the streams of the Montseny mazizo. An example is this waterfall, known as the Riera Vermella, due to the rocks at the bottom that are reddish tones, during autumn it is surrounded by colors that go from ocher yellow to intense red. It is a delight to get lost in its channel looking for frames that enhance its beauty. I hope you like it.

I love hearing their crystalline call - usually I gaze up in every direction trying to figure out where they are! They're such beautiful birds!
