He's really good at hiding!

This is the final art for the Batwoman trading card in the DC Women of Legend trading card set. She's card #7. This was my first for-print card based on a comic book character, and people seem to like my take on Batwoman, so I was pretty excited to be able to take her on.

Since I knew this was going to be shrunk down and printed at a wee 2.5 x 3.5 inches, I went for a simple composition (a big pointy triangle), with a strong delineation between fore- and background. The red-green color compliments was also a no-brainer. It helped that I've always imagined Gotham as giving off a sickly green light.

The short description would be that I'm more proud of this (and my other base card for the set) than I have been anythign in a while. Yay.
