While we have a freezer with a few kinds of homemade ice cream in it, none really went with peach crumble. So we had evaporated milk over it instead.
Ireland's Inn in Fort Lauderdale awaits the day when the Ireland family will redevelop the property into a new and hyper-luxurious property. It is unfortunate that the mid-century hotel on the site will likely not be included in the new plan-even if it can survive the elements in the meantime.

So Tobi pointed out that one of these shots felt "lonely" and I was struck by the same feeling when I uploaded them. What's strange is that I was feeling that way on that day, missing the kids, long drive from home, in a town that i don't have much connection to. (Love the Sea not huge on tourist spots)
So I was thinking that all of these shots had a "clean" feel to them but instead that feeling in my belly made it up to my eye and into the lens.

Inspired by a recipe in Saveur, I did a spin on an old-fashioned berry or apple crumble by using zucchini and cucumber as the filling.
With spices of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and the use of lemon juice and apple cider vinegar, it's quite refreshing and a much needed respite from my beloved chocolate desserts.
