Wikipedia: Vindula erota, the common cruiser, is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in forested areas of tropical South Asia and Southeast Asia distributed in the Western Ghats (India), Northern India to Myanmar, Bangladesh, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and southern China.
This cabin cruiser sits in the light of the setting sun on the still waters of the Tamar River in Launceston, Tasmania.
Cruiser is a permanent resident of Peace River, where he was brought after being hit by a car.

Georgios Averof is a modified Pisa-class armored cruiser built in Italy for the Royal Hellenic Navy in the first decade of the 20th century. The ship served as the Greek flagship during most of the first half of the century. Although popularly known as a battleship in Greek, she is in fact an armored cruiser and the only ship of this type still in existence.

Крейсер 1-го ранга Балтийского флота типа «Диана». Назван в честь парусного фрегата «Аврора», прославившегося при обороне Петропавловска-Камчатского в годы Крымской войны.
Во время русско-японской войны участвовал в походе Второй Тихоокеанской эскадры, закончившимся Цусимским сражением. Крейсер принимал участие также в Первой мировой войне. Холостой выстрел с «Авроры» явился сигналом к началу штурма Зимнего дворца; крейсер стал одним из главных символов Октябрьской революции.
С 1948 года находится на вечной стоянке у Петроградской набережной у истока Большой Невки. Крейсер несколько раз перемещался для проведения ремонтов, последний раз вернулся на стоянку 16 июля 2016 года.
Крейсер «Аврора» является объектом культурного наследия Российской Федерации.
A cruiser of the 1st rank of the Baltic Fleet of the "Diana" type. Named after the sailing frigate "Aurora", which became famous during the defense of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky during the Crimean War.
During the Russo-Japanese War it participated in the campaign of the Second Pacific Squadron, which ended with the Battle of Tsushima. The cruiser also took part in World War I. Blank shot from the "Aurora" was the signal for the beginning of the storming of the Winter Palace; the cruiser became one of the main symbols of the October Revolution.
Since 1948 it has been permanently parked at the Petrogradskaya Embankment at the source of the Bolshaya Nevka. The cruiser has been moved several times for repairs, the last time it returned to the anchorage on July 16, 2016.

Not an aircraft (obviously!). The OPP brought some of their vehicles to the Quinte International Airshow. Since the first day was almost a washout, I had the chance to explore their displays and take some photos.
This is the southern form of the Illinois River Cruiser. The latin name is Macromia illinoiensis georgina. Both forms are now called the Swift River Cruiser, which is appropriate, since they are perhaps the swiftest flying of all dragonflies, being able to fly up to 40 miles per hour. They like to rapidly fly up and down the center of open areas such as rivers. We found several near the Santa Fe River two miles north of the town of High Springs, Florida, USA. It is a large dragonfly that spends a lot of time flying out in the open.

A pair of Tufted duck (Aythya fuligula) was busy with their morning dives along with its friends. The central pair was just looking like the King and the Queen, enjoying the moves with the escorts guarding their journey. The symmetry in position of the guarding ducks made this composition a Unique one. Pics was taken from Chandil Dam in Jharkhand, India.
