Not a view of Detroit you see very often ( and it's not easy to get here let me tell you ). There's a texture ( or two ) applied to this image, which brings out the rain that was falling from the sky ( and on Scott and I while we took our shots here ) .

Crossroads near my then-workplace. Almost noon, everybody is either working or scrambling to get their lunch in time. Early April 2017.
Taken with Pentax MX camera and smc Pentax-M 40mm F2.8 lens and Samigon circular fisheye 180° aux lens, on Agfa APX400 black & white film.
400 ASA film shot at the box speed, 1/250 exposure, ƒ/2.8 primary lens, secondary probably at ƒ/8, judging by the clearly defined circle borders.
Developed in Fomadon R09, semi-stand process, 90 min development time with inversions each 30 min, 1+100 dilution, at 20°C. The first film I developed in two years. Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 via VueScan 9.

Dallas is often described as a city that grew up at the crossroads of important trails and rail routes. It is a crossroads today. By that I mean freeways cross all over it! Dallas is a web of freeways with a city wrapped around it. Traffic, traffic traffic is the watchword. Downtown seems surrounded by a snarl of traffic all day long. However, high above the city from the quiet of the Geodeck on Reunion Tower it is a thing of beauty. Strings of headlamps and taillights accentuate the night lights of the city.

Last night it was a bit cloudy and windy so we have decided to go out and play a bit with long exposure. I have gotten another fish eye lens from my husband (now, that was a very good Valentine's gift, don't you think? ;D) and want to get familiar with it before we go to Iceland and that was another good opportunity to do just that.
Must say that the sky on these makes me dizzy..
It's Wednesday, boys and girls! From now it's down the hill ;D

What a building this is, a two frame pano from the "L'Institut du Monde Arabe, Paris". I called it Crossroads as it has given me a number of ideas for the future.
