Standing still at the crossroads this afternoon, took a few shots with the cellphone.

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.
Whenever someone says,
"Do ya want the good news or the bad news first ?"
My reply is always,
"First I want you to come and stand with in arms
reach, then give me the bad news first ! " ..... ;-)~
Well I do have good news and I do have bad news !
Bad news is my computer is trying to commit suicide !
Good news is The Worm went to the doctor this morning
and she's doing real good. Goes back on Friday.
Tomorrow the computer goes to see my friend Mr SideCar.
Just giving y'all a heads up in case I vanish for a short spell.
Don't plan to disappear but a man must know his limitations .
Figure Mr SideCar and I will rummage around through the
computer bone pile and come up with a fix ...................... ;-)

Taken at Goathland in the North York Moors National Park. The sheep are free to wander the moors which are largely unfenced. Crossroads are a bit complicated for them .
Obviously when you drive round the park you have to expect sheep round every bend
THANKS FOR YOUR VISITING BUT CAN I ASK YOU NOT TO FAVE AN IMAGE WITHOUT ALSO MAKING A COMMENT. MANY THANKS KEITH
The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, King of France, now lies within the boundaries of Gateway Arch National Park. The "Old Cathedral" remains an active Roman Catholic Parish. It partners with the National Park Service to tell its part of St. Louis history.
An interstate runs below the raised streets here. You can barely see the Mississippi River through the trees. The historic waterfront is also part of the national park.
Tallinn, Estonia
The Baltic state of Estonia has long been a commercial, ethnic and religious crossroads. Eastern Orthodoxy was brought to the region by Russian missionaries in the middle ages and, despite the Lutheranism of its Scandinavian neighbours and Hanseatic traders, it stuck. Even today it’s the highest denomination in an increasingly secular state. The magnificent Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Tallinn, pictured here on a grey day in February, is the icon of the fiercely independent Estonian Orthodox Church.
The Newbiggin and Ravenstonedale sign seems to be pointing in the wrong direction. It's probably just a photographic illusion. Both places at the foot of the fells.

They say that magic becomes real at the crossroads
The places not quite here
Yet not quite there
The balance points between “was” and “will be”
When the doors between worlds open
And possibilities are unleashed

I must have a prodigious quantity of mind; it takes me as much as a week sometimes to make it up. ~Mark Twain
