So this one is for Wednesday the 6th

We went to Denali! So we drove a good four hours before we even got to the first view point. It was beautiful, and sunny and gorgeous, but the clouds were so thick around the mountains we couldn't see Mckinley (misspelled?) at all. However, when we got to the actual park like an hour later, the whole place was socked in, you could barely see any mountains. Kind of dissapointing. So we got food, hiked around for an hour or so, and decided to turn back so we could at least get some nice shots at the edge of the park before it got dark.

I could have given you a pick of mountains and water, and gorgeous sunny weather, but heres the thing, I hate doing landscapes. I suck at them, mine are all boring and compositionally uninteresting, and I hate them, and it's not me, so this is the photo you get. I might upload one after I finish editing and uploading all my project 365 shots for the last week. That's my project for the day: get caught up.

Taken with Holga 120N.

My brother is definitely the more photogenic of the two of us. I guess it helps that he knows it too.

disclaimer: i apologize for the inconsistency of the colours and quality of these fotos.. i took them while it was getting darker, used an expired paradies 400 (drogeriemarkt, jajajj) 35 mm film and in the end the freaks in the foto studio didnt even bother to scan the sprockets,..·$&/&()

but anyways this remains one of my favorite holga projects:)

Olive doesn't make a good lover, not like other, more important people in my life.

Yellow. Green. Haven't shaved. Look pleasantly surprised. Didn't mean to shoot right then.

Edited to resemble lomography, i.e. photos taken most commonly with either a Holga or Diana+ toy camera

(hence the soft focus, it was actually blurred intentionally, CRAZY i know)

Some cloning was done to remove people who, despite me waiting for nearly 15 minutes, would not move (or more kept coming). Also, I got rid of a distracting rope fence by the walk way)

i've not been online much because:

a) i have a busy schedule with marching band and chorus

b) when i do get online i don't usually have any feedback on my stream, and

c) i have to use my parents' camera seeing as i don't have a working one anymore.

That said, i really do like flickr a lot and i'm not ready to delete my account or anything drastic, i just think that i should take an official break. I may log on occasionally to look at others' photos, however i won't be uploading any more of my own.
