I performed the PZ-2.1 crossover modification to this old pair of Minimus 7W speakers I found. Makes the frequency response above 180Hz much flatter than original. Doesn't improve the bass response, but there's a limit to how much to expect from a 3" woofer!
The crossover to allow stock to be moved from the stock siding and head shunt onto the main running line.
The UART crossover cable is a 6-inch, 6-pin crossover cable that connects newer UART-interface Pmods (PmodBT) to older microcontroller boards (Cerebot 2, Cerebot 32MX4, etc.). The UART crossover cable also connects older UART-interface Pmods (PmodCLS, PmodRS232, etc.) to newer microcontroller boards.
Why being always so neatly arranged in the field? A little bit of creativity once in a while seems necessary.....

I choose to use a Linkwitz-Riley curve for the crosover.
This gives me a 12dB/octave falloff at 2400Hz.
This crossing junction allowed trains from the outer loop to enter the yard.

Veech is a pair of CTC crossovers west of Bement, still protected by searchlight signals.
