CrossCountry 43303 powers North out of Milford Tunnel, as it works 1S51 Plymouth to Glasgow Central via. Birmimgham New Street. On the rear is 43378. 03/09/2019.

CrossCountry 43239 rushes through Milford with 43207, working the 0611 Leeds to Plymouth as 1V44. 14/04/2021.

With the field still tightly grouped, the pack approaches the top of the uphill. Runners from Columbia, McNeese State, and Universite Laval are among the leaders.

 

In cross country, the places of the top 5 finishers from each school are added together. Whichever team has the lowest score is the winner. Columbia won the team title, despite athletes from Laval finishing first, second, and fourth. Laval's 5th runner finished well behind the top group, which resulted in Columbia's top 5 having a lower score.

 

On an interesting non-sports note, Laval is the oldest French speaking university in North America.
