R924 spots loaded ore cars on Dock 6 while the CN Geo Train shoves through the crossovers and up to Missabe Jct to run back up Proctor Hill before heading north on the Missabe Sub.
A westbound autorack train passes the twin cantilever signals that guarded the crossovers just west of Wellton. Unfortunately, these were replaced just a few months later.

About a mile and a half of coal is rolling down the hill about ten miles south of Bill, WY. The Union Pacific train, led by a new Tier 4 SD70ACe (SD70AH) is stretched out through the 90.5 crossover on the Orin Subdivision.
BNSF 9769 lugs a southbound coal train up the grade at Spruce, CO at the sight of one of the old main line crossovers.
This crossover was removed 102 years ago, but the abutments still remain.
As for the MACe, it was a long-time coming before I caught one on the point, and with only 20-something of these things on the current roster, if BNSF doesn't choose to continue to add more, I wonder if in 20 years or so people will only have a vague recollection of them ever existing...

A pair of Union Pacific eastbound trains appear to be in competition as they drag their respective trains through Uintah, Utah.
If I were to bet, I would lay my money down on UP 9100 will arrive first at Strawberry, where CTC ends and ABS current of traffic begins.
In theory, UP's Evanston Sub dispatcher is routing 9100 through the CTC crossovers ahead of UP 3715 for the lengthy ascent through Echo to the summit at Wahsatch.
Rarely used part of the rail systems in rural Nova Scotia. One line runs directly into a concrete production facility.
Or lens since Long Beach is about 50 miles away, anyway definitely should have taken this with something a bit bigger coupled to the lens mount the 135 wasn't enough to get rid of the big foreground shadow that the buildings cast. Along the 91 Freeway corridor between Corona and Riverside, as BNSF 3738 and 6609 cruise through the crossovers at May as the pair moves 6857 feet as Stacks off of Long Beach Pier E (LBCT Terminal) towards St. Louis in the morning. And yes Searchlights since the San Bernardino signals get no love even though there just about it on the old Santa Fe.
