I flipped this (created a mirror image) as a way to gently distinguish the Small-Medium crochet pattern for it from the new Large-XLarge pattern.
Surprising, the trouble I have finding a way to flip a photo! Even though I can do it on my Mac within Pages and within Preview (not within iPhoto), the flippin' doesn't stick! It won't upload flipped to Ravelry nor to iPhoto nor to my website. So far, only to Flickr!

I've remastered this popular scarf in anticipation of the upcoming Tunisian crochet classes that I'm teaching nationally.
It's inspired by my Five Peaks Shawl, which was published in Interweave Crochet magazine, Spring 2010.
Like the shawl (except that it has a long rectangular scarf shape instead of an "L" -- the "five peaks"), you begin in one corner, and edge it with simple eyelets as you go.
One of the 'remastered' aspects is that I've found a new way to shape the left edge. I also think that this kind of design is the most fun if you can work from a diagram of it, instead of (or in addition to) a traditional pattern text.

I love mauvey colors! The thread is a bit duskier than in this photo; sort of a dusty antique lavender. Too bad Coats Opera thread is not being made anymore :(

I love the bead colors but I think the thread color is too bright. It's actually more straw-colored and not as bright as in this photo, but still too bright for what I want.
