This was made from yarn I got from Livia Drvsilla. Which has been in my stash since February. It is striped in three colours, and while crocheting, it turend out such that the white stripes left out a face on the head. And I could have white hands and feet without having to cut the yarn specifically for it.
We had to put a back brace around her like a corset to get her to leave bandages and stitches alone.
Cute little terrarium with two mushrooms and a ceramic/glass critter! Made with an upcycled jar and real German moss!!!
We found this cool little park that we wandered through for a while. The critters liked it, so when they saw this abstract sculpture thing there, they decided to claim it in the name of classroom critters all over the world. Which brought up the question of whether or not China had any classroom critters. I told them I'd keep my eyes open, but I hadn't seen any yet.
I bought critter food to feed the squirrels that live in my backyard. Petco didn't have ground feeders and it was late last Sunday afternoon by the time we were buying pet food, birdseed and critter food so a trip to Home Depot or Lowe's wasn't in the equation. I put it out in an old pet dish I had and hoped for the best. I haven't seen one squirrel in the backyard to eat from the birdfeeder or the specially bought critter food. Instead it seems the birds have been enjoying it. Since the squirrel eats from the bird feeder I figure that turnabout is fairplay.
