I want to share the beauty of our country.

Taken at the "Lipton's Seat" Sri Lanka. Whole place is the Tea plantation. It was very misty in the afternoon when I took this shot.

Yesterday I posted this photo: www.flickr.com/photos/jaydaley/15854255611/ of the infamous Sygna Shipwreck on stockton beach and thought I would share my image with a terrific new group on Facebook dedicated to giving truthful hard criticism.

With some hesitation the group pushed me to think a little differently about this image and here is take #2. A very different feel and one I think I actually prefer more.

Does it work for you?

View large and, as always, thanks for looking!

I have been battling with trying to do a triptych and any constructive criticism most welcome! HSS!

Arctic terns fighting for their territory in the sky above their breeding colony. Mostly these fights end soon and without any harm for both. And it looks breathtaking!

And: I don't like Comment-Codes, "awards", or such groups. Because of that, Comment codes, "Awards" and invitations in such groups will be deleted. There is an Explanation at my profile.

So, if you want to say something about my photo, it will be really appreciated, no matter if it's about liking or some constructive criticism. Your own thoughts and words will mean much more to me than a universal-text.

Also please don't post pictures in the commenting-area. You could post them much better in your own photo stream. ;-D

As always, your faves and comments are appreciated. Constructive criticism and suggestions are especially welcome as I believe they help to make me a better photographer. Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos.

The great grey owl is an owl from the high northern area. He seems to be much larger than he is because half of his size is his plumage. Between the feathers is a lot of air which works like an isolator to keep the bird warm.

Hello All!

These are Prairie Coneflowers, delightful wildflowers that bees and butterflies adore. To create this image, I liquefied, bloated and twisted things about to get a sense of motion. Processing and effects all done in Adobe Photoshop Elements 15.

Our baby boy turned 3 yesterday, May 23rd. Love him with all our hearts! I wanted to put his photo up then but the Flickr maintenance took over 24hrs.

Today I keep getting the Bad Panda and pages take forever to load if they load at all. I am also not receiving any notifications when friends put up new photos. Hoping they can get these issues fixed once and for all. It's been going on for way too long! My apologies if I am slow to respond to comments or miss your new photo uploads because of this.

Have a great weekend Flickr friends. Tina and the Puglets xo
