Created the alcohol ink background then used the rose stamp overlay.

"Alpine" Heart made with vintage sheet music titled "Alpine Violet". The substrate used was 1/4 inch foam core. I finished the edges with scalloped aluminum tape that had alcohol ink applied to it. I printed a vintage image of violets on a transparency sheet and finished it with a blanket stitch. The vintage brooch on the left side is a violet petit point.

A bowl of spheres using vintage doilies etc.

Created this journal cover by layering a pressed dill seed head between wax paper and tissue papers etc. I then did hand and machine free motion stitching to make it all stay intact. To finish I added a illustration board cover with a frame cutout.

Created this journal cover with a scrapbook page of butterflies. Added a paper tassel to the coil binding which I also made.

Just a simple dried pressed miniature bleeding heart leaf. Used the twirl on stem. Left the blemish on leaf tip to make meaning of the quote I used. Used Kim's Light Paper 3 texture which I changed to green.

A jar art creation my great niece "Grace" and I made. Started with a jar that her great Grandmother used to store sugar in years ago. Used various items to give it a whimsical feel. Added a battery operated candle. For the lid cover we used a "fun flower" which I will share in a seperate post later. Sprinkled a little glitter before sealing this pendant in glass. Soldered it to seal. I hang these on the lamp switch so it is easy to locate when trying to turn on a lamp. Make great personalized gifts too.

Had fun teaching my little niece "Grace" to make jelly prints then a book to put them all in. She is very creative for a 9 year old and her enthusiasm was wonderful.
