Lay on the meadow, look at the world from a different perspective ... breathe ... hear ... feel ...

Artwork on the wall of an almost empty bistro !!

"Creativity is a lot like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. You look at a set of elements, the same ones everyone else sees, but then reassemble those floating bits and pieces into an enticing new possibility."

A rainy day with Photoshop instead of camera. For my album "Creativity, Close-up and Macro". Take a look !

Creativity takes courage,

but beyond every performer

is a beginner who

fell in love with

expression,

storytelling, &

being set free.

Sometimes the graffiti is really creative and intelligent, but mostly just stupid and unimaginative. Suppose Baselitz, Richter or Beus just write his name on a blank piece of paper ... senseless!

See my "About" page on Flickr for the link to support my efforts... just the price of a cup of coffee is appreciated. Thank you. www.flickr.com/people/jax_chile/

A friend with a very creative mind made these "pencils". You can't draw with them, they are twigs with a point cut and he gave the points a color. I said "those are cool for a theme someday". Then I got a bundle, for someday and someday has now come.

[2020/04/17 20:49] Luka Benton: well you definitely express your creativity visually :D

[2020/04/17 20:49] Winter Jefferson: you mean by taking moodily lit photos wearing nothing but lipstick and jeans.

[2020/04/17 20:49] Winter Jefferson: lolollll

[2020/04/17 20:50] Luka Benton: ROFL false modesty

[2020/04/17 20:50] Winter Jefferson: okay fine, lipstick jeans and the odd nipple piercing.

This is creativity at it's "finest" for my magic friend Luka Benton. THERE YOU GO BABYCAKES.

And also for that ex who says I look like Jeffree Star.

For me, beauty is valued more than anything - the beauty that is manifest in a curved line or in an act of creativity.

This is a close up of The Arc, a building I posted recently, and added to the first comment here.

This building was designed by Walter Franci, but I really liked the quote by Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer.

When I see the variety of colors and shapes that nature endows this faded part of a magnolia with, I am simply fascinated!

More artwork from Ipswich Waterfront

When I get a slump and feel a need to pump up, all I do is take the walk in nature. It does not take long and frames begin to appear on things near and far. After an hour walk I am pumped and full of ideas, the memory card is pumped and full too lol.

When the little man and his brother Zen volunteered to help pick the band that would represent their school in the big event, they never expected this…

“They’re amazing, buddeh… “ whispers Skippy.

“I think we have a winner.”

Hear what they heard...

Skippy was inspired by his talented buddy Zen's newest collection of bears. They're called the Boogers Bear Band, and you can pick them up at the Arcade!

The little prince was also inspired by the following cool creations:

NOMAD's Gymnasium!

Seven Emporium's Lab Crates, Amps, Scoreboard, Speaker, and Microphones!

SOY's Aged Spot Light!

Keep supporting creativity everyone!

Paint Louis is known as the largest gathering of graffiti writers- who have permission to legally paint the 1.9 mile "longest mural in the world", the Mississippi River flood wall, in Saint Louis, MO. USA

With a camera in hand, they explore,

A young pair, creative at their core.

They capture each other in frames of delight,

In every shot, they find magic, day or night.

Mural entitled "Joy of Creativity" by @andaluztheartist and @nhankins1982, seen at 3201 NW 7th Avenue in Miami, Florida.

liz gilbert writes: “creativity is sacred, and it is not sacred. what we make matters enormously, and it doesn’t matter at all. we toil alone, and we are accompanied by spirits. we are terrified, and we are brave. art is a crushing chore and a wonderful privilege. only when we are at our most playful can divinity finally get serious with us. make space for all these paradoxes to be equally true inside your soul and i promise—you can make anything. so please calm down now and get back to work, okay? the treasures that are hidden inside you are hoping you will say yes.”

facebook: born joy: mindfulness

In the hush of night, a gentle soul took flight,

A girl beloved, now adorned in angel light.

Too soon she left, her absence a silent pain,

Leaving behind memories, like drops of rain.

My best friend, my sister, in laughter we'd rejoice,

In tears we'd find solace, with every shared voice.

But fate's cruel hand intervened, stole her away,

Leaving me in shadows, where sadness holds sway.

Yet in the quiet moments, when stars softly gleam,

I feel her presence, like a whispered dream.

For though she's gone, her spirit lingers near,

Guiding me through darkness, soothing every fear.

So let the tears flow, like rivers to the sea,

For she's become an angel, watching over me.

Though parted by distance, our bond remains true,

Forever in my heart, my dear friend, I'll remember you.
