The International Partners of the #aychEU #Interreg Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs Project gather to plan, discuss, and action building a model of social innovation for young people supporting social entrepreneurship, employment and education in the creative and cultural industries. It will develop new approaches and interventions within Youth Service and education settings across the Atlantic Area (UK, France, Spain and Portugal). Connecting people, ideas, skills, technologies and enterprises across a network of hubs the project will unlock the creative, entrepreneurial potential of young people (14-30) focussing on key themes such as innovation, co-creation of products, social entrepreneurship and employability. As a result, more young people will be able to develop creative, digital and entrepreneurial skills building and prototyping product and service ideas to address societal issues across the Atlantic Area.

Engaging and consulting with young people who attend youth service sessions / projects

To introduce young people to the medium of digital photography / equipment / developing an eye to enhance the message the young photographer is trying to relay / editing skills. All achieved via ‘out and about’ community photography.

The core focus is a young person's perspective of the community - what's good / what’s not - all through the eye of a digital camera. Compiling a visual overview of the community, highlighting its strengths, and identifying areas of development for young people, and the wider community. All achieved by a walkabout.

Introducing young people to learn how to cook a three course meal from scratch, and capture this process by taking images via still photos/ short videos to create a time lapse video of ingredients and method than can be posted and shared with friends and other young people on social media.
