These images capture the mesmerizing beauty of water drop collisions, achieved using a Pluto Trigger and Pluto Valve for precise timing. The top layer consists of milk, while the base is water infused with red food coloring. The contrast creates a stunning visual interplay of fluid motion, forming delicate structures that last for just a fleeting moment.

Each droplet descends in milliseconds, rebounding into an intricate dance as the next drop collides. The swirling milk and red water create otherworldly forms—some resembling volcanic eruptions, others evoking the sense of a rising phoenix. The physics behind each shot is as captivating as the aesthetic result.

By fine-tuning the drop size, delay, and flash timing, each frame becomes a unique, unrepeatable composition. A perfect example of the unpredictable nature of fluid dynamics, frozen in time.

Red and black—the colors of intensity, mystery, and power. The droplet bursts upon impact, spreading its fiery hue across the dark abyss. A delicate yet forceful interaction, where liquid becomes art, and science meets creativity

Don't be Panic about the Pandemic. Self Isolation and Social Distancing make the Planet re-breath. Have a wonderful time at your home.

This Composition meets the Rule of Thirds and interesting thing is, the colors are complementary to the opposite.

A macro photograph capturing the vibrant center of a poppy flower. The intricate details of the dark stamens and the pollen-dusted pistil stand out against the glowing orange-red petals — a mesmerizing close-up view of nature’s artistry.

...that is what flower photography has done for me :)

After a busy day, creating this image, helped me to reach inner peace and quiet.

Thank you very much for your comments and also thanks to those who marked the picture as a favorite! I appreciate each!

No matter how you try to keep them neat, hair ties end up like this. The bright greens, yellows, and soft pinks jumble together in one messy but cheerful pile

These hair ties look almost like metal cables when you zoom in. The deep pink and green stand out against the dark background, turning something simple into a textured study in color.

An entire story sealed in a sphere. The fruit’s color still glows through the ice, like a secret waiting to melt out.

Warm tones trapped in a cold block. Hazel nuts frozen mid-melt — texture, light, and contrast all locked in.

A mosaic of red ceramic tiles sets the stage. Lightweight styrofoam balls — blue, yellow, green, and pink — scatter across the surface, gently shifted by the wind. A simple setup that turns into a colorful, abstract little world.

Cool tones and quiet detail. The nuts look almost fossilized — preserved in their frozen frame.

This spike is driven through a HUGE block of concrete, sitting on the grass beside the tent. It and its companions all around the tent are pulling the tent out from its central poles, and being a big tent, I guess normal tent pegs won't do.

Day 15 of 365 Days in Colour - Rust.

Explore #309.

Ingredients: Sunny, hot Colorado morning, the Pentax K10D, some dandelions I've not yet pulled, and two lenses: the Pentax 18-55mm kit lens, mounted, and the Pentax 50mm handheld but reversed in front of the mounted lens.

The poor girl's macro. Thoughts?

A word about color: Mode > Lab Color, channel a > contrast boost 20, channel b > contrast boost 20, Mode > RGB, level adjustment layer, curves adjustment layer, then a convert to sRGB with black point dithering. Whew.

Taken for the PFO 1st Anniversary Special Challenge Scavenger Hunt

Three-inch measurement check. Does it meet minimum dimensions?

As soon as I saw these sticks, my first thought was "this is art by nature" I looooooved the way they looked against the dry, earthly, background tones!

The bush was such a mess, I didn't think I'd be able to do much with it...but when I spotted this section with some space, I cropped it here...

I hope you like it as much as I do!

Have a great night/day, everyone!

With love!

Nat :)

I caught this brief moment when sunlight transformed a common fly into a living jewel. The intentional use of shallow depth of field isolates the incredible iridescent details against a soft golden backdrop.
