We took over the Clore Learning Studio during the half term week to run drop-ins and workshops on creative coding inspired by Cosmic constellations of the artist Katie Paterson. Finishing off with a Late night with hundreds of visitors getting stuck nto digital art making.

Wie kann man mit Code Kunst erschaffen? Im Creative Coding Mini Lab wird Programmieren zum kreativen Werkzeug. Dabei geht es nicht um funktionale Anwendungen wie die Steuerung von Robotern oder die Lösung technischer Probleme, sondern darum, Code als Ausdrucksmittel zu nutzen, ähnlich wie Farbe und Pinsel. Im Vordergrund steht ein spielerischer und explorativer Ansatz: Der kreative Prozess beim “Creative Coding“ beschränkt sich nicht auf das Schreiben von Code, sondern eröffnet durch die Interaktion mit Technologie neue Wege des künstlerischen Ausdrucks.
