Feeling creative. Would love some feedback. Trying to be creative, but not always sure I'm nailing it. Definitely not my comfort zone. So any suggestions are very welcomed. Thanks.

It turns out that 2016 had one last treasure to offer up, my son James and I spotted a whale just off the coast yesterday. It was a little far away, but a fluke's a fluke! I think it was a humpback, but I'm no expert.
This is a closer image I got earlier in 2016 - Link.

Week No. 12: Inspired by your Country
Category: Creative
To be honest, I'm more worried about my country than inspired by it. To combat that worry, I try to find something to appreciate every day, something beautiful, something to be inspired by. I walk most every morning and am out before the people and the cars take over. The mornings are when I am most likely to find something to appreciate. This shot is dawn at the lake on my walk.

thanks for every one for views, faves & comments.
Now that I am (almost) an adult and am moving out in 8 days, I wanted to do a photo about childhood emotions. The innocence, the awe and the amazement of discovery which I tried to show with the colours, framing and overall look of this photo. Hope y'all dig. This is one Ellie and I shot about a month ago.
Taken for Dogwood 52 Week 6 Candy . I used spearmint leaves as an artistic addition to the drawing and a candy ladybird.
Wasn't trying to take a nice snap here... Just wanted to show how creative these folks are, using plates as the edging for their gardening. How wonderful! :)

Best wishes to all for the holiday. One more celebration of lights, this one from the back reaches of Morro Bay,
San Luis Obispo Co., California
This tree is mostly visible to the public from one spot, the Morro Coast Audubon Society's overlook, and I have used that vantage point over the years. So this time I tried a different mental perspective from the same vantage point. (And as always, thanks so much to whoever erects and lights the tree for the rest of us to enjoy.)
