There is a really nice feature on me and my Morecambe Bay project in Creative Boom today. Please take a look here if you get a chance:

Fruit Bat found a warm spot on the stove to take a siesta. A few carrots and a chopped onion, she should stew up nicely!

Look who's descending like a champ these days!? 🏆

I need more of those creativity overkills. I did draw and paint a little, take pictures obviously, wrote, and read a lot, cooked and baked.

Ha! I wish these days were not so rare. I also know I need to consciously make the time and the effort - so I'm going to get better at that.

From last April in Pt. Defiance Park, Tacoma, WA, where there are amazing flower gardens. I don't know what kind of flower it is though... anyone?

I was playing with some new software called Luminar 2018 which has a lot of creative edits and has been called "Nik on steroids". I was surprised to find out it makes a very good raw converter also and can be a lot faster than always using Lr like I had been.

Thank you for you warm and kind visits my friends! Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! :)

One of the most creative sessions ever for me with this lovely teen! She almost refused "conventional" posing, and designed her expressions within a world all of her own making. Commercials ahead for her? Television? Just a joy to her friends, no doubt!

I used a very shallow dof to photograph this pretty flower (aster---thank you to those that confirmed this) from a bouquet, and then applied a white vignette to take out some of the background colour, and `melt' the flower into the background.
