traciepond: @michii00 yes, it is tricky. Like markers or watercolors, practice practice. I think it is just getting the feel for the tool and how the different inks will adhere to the cardstock/paper. Also pressure. I have a difficult time because I have such a tight grip. So this is kind of like therapy for me.

My first attempt with The Ton Stamps, Fresh Cut Dahlias. I have been waiting patiently for my order. The USPS lost it. Anyway! Just wanted to show you what a super duper quick stamping looks like. happycardmaking: I normally make homemade stencils with acetate and no problem.
craftcradle: I don't use paste, but I've been making stencils using non-slip textured template plastics. It's pretty thick so I think it'll be sturdy enough for you to lay down the paste. Should be able to get some from your local fabric stores.
craftcradle: Oh and I usually have to run it through my Big Shot a couple of times to make sure it cuts properly.
