Backstory:
Even though the city is called Sunrise City, that doesn't mean that everything is sunshine and rainbows. For Vivo Mccray, it was hell. He grew up in an abusive family, where his father would beat his mother, and Vivo. He had to endure so much pain throughout his childhood. During that time, he would find his escape through music, where you can just lose yourself. He would forget about the real world, and just dance to the beat of the song. One day though, he decided enough was enough, and tried to run away from home. His father had different ideas, so he smashed Vivo's ipod, and pummelled Vivo. Vivo was able to break free, and run out onto the streets. He thought about going back to save his mother, but what could he do? While walking all night to find somewhere to live, Vivo came across a new ipod and headphones to go with it. He plugged the headphones in, and put them on. He scrolled through the music, and chose the first song that intrigued him. As soon as the first beat dropped, he felt different. He felt electricity flow through his veins. All of the sudden, he shot electricity out of his hands. "What the heck is going on?" he says, confused. He puts his hands out in front of him and feels the electricity. He shoots out another bolt. "How am I doing this? What's wrong with me?" He picks another song. That feeling of electricity fades away. "Phew, that was a close one!" But he then realizes, that he's on top of a rooftop that is across the street from where he was without even moving a muscle. "Ok, something is definitely wrong..." He then realizes that he may have extraordinary abilities. To test his theory, he scrolls through different genres of music and sees what happens. With Dubstep/house/electronic music, he gains control over Electricity. "Oh man, this is so cool." Next up, he listens to Classical music. He starts to say all these different things that he never knew before. Classical gives him Enhanced Intelligence. Earlier when he teleported, he was listening to some of the most popular music in the area. "Let's see what Rap/RNB has in store." He dances around trying to see what it will do. "Nothing... that can't be right." So he starts to walk across the rooftop, and starts to go faster, and faster. He's about to reach the end of the building, and he starts to panic. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon," he says rapidly as he franticly switches genres. He starts to fall down to the ground, and as he selects the next song with that country twang, he stops falling. "What happened?" He looked below, and saw that he was 20 feet off the ground. He started to fly around, though in the excitement of it all, he skips to the next song. "Oh crap." He falls down to the ground. "ow!" He yelps, but realizes that it didn't hurt that much. "Thank you rock music." He sees a car on fire, with someone inside. He runs over, and tries to pry off the car door. He succeeds, with very little effort. "Ok cool, I'll probably need to write this all down somewhere though..." He grabs the girl inside. and runs away before the car is fully engulfed in flames.. "Tha'nk you, she says panting." "No worries!" Vivo says with a smile on his face. He realized he had taken off the headphones to hear what she had said. Nothing happened, no electricity, no teleport, no flying, nothing... He proceeds to put his headphones back on, with some blues playing now. All of the sudden he can hear all these different things, as if he can hear the thoughts of everyone around him. He decides from that day forward, that he would use these powers for good, and to stop scum like his father from ever hurting anyone ever again. He calls himself Beatdown.
Alright there's my first entry into the second week of Thomas' contest. Here's the summary of what genre gives him what just for reference. I didn't mention a couple of them in the backstory, cause there was a lot to fit in as it is. Also did not mention that his costume changes according to each genre as well. The fig you see here is in his Jazz outfit. Hope you all enjoyed reading about Beatdown, cause it was fun making him. I got the idea from reading reddit a couple months ago.

L’Opernhaus au centre de l'Augustusplatz, de Leipzig, Land de Saxe, Allemagne.
Bâti de 1956 à 1960, cet opéra est reconnu pour son excellente acoustique.
L’Augustusplatz (« place Auguste », d'après le premier roi de Saxe) est une place publique dans l'est du centre de Leipzig. Elle est construite en 1785 selon les plans de Johann Carl Friedrich Dauthe sous le nom de Platz vor dem Grimmaischen Thor (« place de la porte de Grimma ») à l'emplacement d'une porte sur l'ancienne enceinte de Leipzig. Sous le régime de la RDA, elle était connue sous le nom de Karl-Marx-Platz avant de faire l'objet d'une rénovation complète et d'être renommée sous son nom actuel le Jour de l'Unité allemande le 3 octobre 1990.
Elle fait aujourd'hui 40 000 m2 de superficie et regroupe quelques-uns des monuments les plus marquants de la ville dont, au centre, l’Opernhaus (opéra) bâti de 1956 à 1960 à l'excellente acoustique avec, au nord de l'édifice le parc avec l’étang Schwanenteich (le Lac des cygnes). Au Sud, se dressent le gratte-ciel moderne City-Hochhaus, la salle de concert Gewandhaus, ainsi que la partie centrale de l'Université de Leipzig. À l’ouest, on peut admirer la Krochhaus, le premier « gratte-ciel » de la ville, élevé en 1928-1929 et couronné d'une réplique des automates Maures de Venise.
Leipzig est une ville-arrondissement d'Allemagne centrale, au nord-ouest du Land de Saxe. Elle est la ville la plus peuplée d'Allemagne de l'Est après Berlin, et la dixième ville du pays. Leipzig obtint ses privilèges municipaux en 1165 et acquit très tôt une vocation commerciale. Ses grandes foires d’automne et de printemps créées depuis plus d’un siècle, attirent chaque année de nombreux visiteurs.
Depuis la création de son université en 1409, la ville est aussi un important centre intellectuel, Renommée pour ses éditeurs, elle renferme la Deutsche Bücherei, la Bibliothèque national allemande fondée en 1912. Par ailleurs, la cité où Jean-Sébastien Bach passa près de 30 ans de sa vie accorde une grande place à la musique : l’orchestre du Gewandhaus et la chorale Thomanerchor jouissent d’une grande réputation.

This is perhaps the single most famous panel on Michelangelo's Sistine Ceiling.
I think it depicts the moment just after God has given life to Adam/Man; their hands almost touching, ... though most interpret this as the moment just before the giving of life.
The depiction of God here, is in simple clothing. The female figure, under God's left hand, is thought to be Eve.
Figures of youths surround the Genesis panels, sitting in various poses on painted pedestals. Their purpose seem to be mainly decorative.
