On March 3, 1829 the intrepid French naturalist and traveler Alcide Charles Victor Marie Dessalines d'Orbigny in Corrientes - now north Argentina - came upon an immense marsh caused by the confluence of a creek San-Jose into the majestic Paraná River. 'Là', he exclaims in his Voyage (1835), 'je trouvai une plante qui est peut-être l'une des plus belles d'Amérique'. In the local Guaraní language he says it's called 'yrupñ' ('y' means 'water'; 'rupñ' 'great disk', for the giant leaves). Later after his return to France he has time to describe our Victoria cruziana d'Orbigny (1840). The 'cruziana' is for the Bolivian-Peruvian general and politician Andrés de Santa Cruz Villavicencia y Calaumona (1792-1865) who had made many of his endeavors possible. In his description there are some polemics about the naming of both 'regia' and 'cruziana' which make for interesting reading but have today been resolved. Our Hortus in alternate years displays the 'amazonica' (regia), the 'cruziana' and a hybrid. This year it's 'cruziana's' turn again.
The photo shows the pure white first-day flower, and in the foreground the pink, purpling second day blossom. Then it will die.
What of our Alcide? He left the field of 'live' biology and became a paleontologist and 'catastrophic' creationist.
NB The wonderful website 'Tropicos' is incorrect in attributing the name 'cruziana' to Alcide's younger brother, also a scientist, Charles Henry Dessalines d'Orbigny (1806-1876).

Also, you may have noticed I didn't add my superhero persona, Flux to the video. While that would've been a cool way to add him to their ranks, it seemed too much like I was shoehorning him in. Especially since this is the original team and not the extended one.
BUT, I still made a video so that Flux can still be a part of it, enjoy: (Note I put my new intro at the beginning, that's not actually part of it.)
Anyway, this is part of the reason I've been active, but it was mainly Bible School. I should be uploading more edits, blah, blah, blah. :P You've heard this all before. I'm starting to feel like a broken record...

I decided to make my own versions of the Flickr fighters along with my updated fighter. Crow, Creationist, Enoshima, Me, Wavelength, Goldenfeather, Matchstick, Multi Sharp

Name: Cornelia Gramont
Gender: Female
Allegiance: Zuchted
Backstory: Loud and boisterous while on the battlefield, but off of it, Cornelia is timid and shy. The mace/flail she wields is called The Sundering, that upon impact, delivers extraordinary concussive force. Originally, her parents were quite poor, and often would sacrifice their own food so that Cornelia could survive. Upon becoming a Maiden, and all the luxuries that come with it, she would give back to her parents by having them stay with her in the castle, in one of the extra rooms, thankful for all that they've done for her. While she respects most of the Maidens, the only one she's relatively close to on a friendship level is Livana Vlahaki (Warpstrike). In the battlefield, she is in the frontline, along with Golden Gladiator, and Warpstrike.
Again, the concussive force add-on/power is all thanks to Lego Creationist. He helped me out big time with three of these maidens :)
It is hard to believe that my "Jesus Riding Raptor" sketch is TEN YEARS OLD. Where does the time go? Seems like just yesterday I was making fun of fringe creationists.
Now I'm paying them my taxes.

A new digital piece that's quite different from my usual art, but something that's always been a HUGE part of myself and my entire life. I've always been spiritual, and so I thought that it's time for me to create more pieces that show that side of me. Psychedelic and symbolic art has always attracted my attention, so I wanted to make one! Hope you like this <3
The circle pattern behind her is of a Sacred Geometry or sometimes also known as Metatron's Cube. Metatron is an Archangel from the Seraphim spectrum, and this angel often focuses of sacred knowledge, working with highly sensitive children, indigos, and so on.
Also, for this particular piece I was trying on a different technique of painting. I took a photo of myself and used the actual photo to be turned into a painting. So this is kind of a photo repainting, but still more towards digital art instead of just photomanipulation or touch up.

I am thinking about becoming a creationist. For me the realization that it took millions of years for people to get this stupid is hard to swallow. Especially the stupidity we have now. 6,000 years of stupid seems much more probable.
Hey everyone, I finally got round to making most of the Flickr Fighters members! For those of you who are new to Flickr or just don’t know, the “FF” is something I came up with (a year ago?) for the community to collab together on. It is a group based on how members of the Lego and Art community see themselves as super heroes! So basically it’s how you’d like to look and what kind of power you’d like to have if you were a superhero! Once you’ve built/drawn/animated your Flickr Fighter you can even make 8 villains for them to fight against. An endless source of frustration is the futile outcome of discussions or debates with strict creationists. That outcome is often the result of confusion over what, exactly, the discussion is about. The scientist is engrossed in clarifying theoretical logic or expounding on the evidence used to test some theory or other. At the same time, at the other end of the spectrum of debate, the creationist is attempting to point out the incompleteness of any scientific theory mistakenly believing that revealing such a weakness in a mechanistic theory would thereby prove a particu-lar theistic proposition
The Black Dragon Pictograph is a partially faded panel whose correct interpretation took many years. In 1947, John Simonsen published a paper describing the monster that he imagined. To help others see what he saw, he
outlined it in chalk. In the 1970s a geologist opined that the monster looked like a pterodactyl. In the late 1990s young-earth creationists presented this panel as evidence that pterodactyls and Native Americans had lived at the same time.
An analysis first by a photographic enhancement technique (Stretch) followed by x-ray fluorescence to measure the iron in the red pigment revealed that the panel was five separate pictographs: a bighorn sheep, a dog, a bug-eyed anthropomorphic holding a snake, a man bent a the waist with arms thrust out in supplication, and a horned snake. All of the pictographs were in the Barrier Canyon Style of pictographs and petroglyphs, which are 1500 to 4000 years old.
Black Dragon Canyon has stunning scenery, many other pictographs, and petroglyphs.
So, Lego Creationist suggest making this. I thought that was a great idea, so I did. As some of you may know, I've been usong a white nail pen instead of white paint, and it works really well.
Every part of the figure is custom. I used a base of plain blue for the whole body,except the hands (those are a base of black), cut knockoff skater hair that used to be blonde....and then it was black....now it's white. I My favorite part of this whole figure is BY FAR the head. I'm extremely happy with how it came out.

Hello everyone! Today is my 17th birthday! Wow, I remember my last birthday post!

Katrina Ivanov has the ability to produce tendrils from her body that, upon fusing with another human, place that person under her complete control.
She works as a tailor to get close enough to important people to plant her tendrils, and has been know to sew tendrils onto the lining of a dress shirt to gain control over a client.
Once she releases her victims from her control, they fall into a coma due to the chemical processes in their brain having been interrupted by her tendrils.
She has very little physical ability or training to fight, but she usually keeps a guard of her victims nearby. Her tendrils can also be concentrated into whip-like tentacles that can be used to defend herself.
So, I finally posted. I’ve been working on two big custom projects, and those are eating up a lot of my time. Once I post them, you’ll understand. ;)
Also, big thank-you to Lego Creationist for helping figure out a BIG problem I had with this character’s backstory and mode of operation.
Earth Week by Pearl..
Yes, our pure miraculous water..truly a miracle that our Earth had the greatest luck to score the First Prize in the Whole Universal Lottery..
One Oxygen atom sharing a bond with two Hydrogen atoms ~ wow ~ can you believe it…and all Life on this planet hinges on this simple fluke of molecular fusion and happenstance, that there was some ice stuck on some meteors... Well .. apparently, but not if you're a creationist...I'm not getting into any debates, especially after listening to the firm Beliefs and Ethics of a Devout Christian while walking our dogs around the park, but he Never Picks Up His Own Dog's Poop..
But, I'll always be the first to say, our rainwater falls from Heaven and it's the greatest gift ...
This was taken last Easter Saturday, down at the creek which borders my old friend's property…and it was still fresh and flowing from the rains we had a few weeks ago…that's a lot of run-off from the mountains..

Weapons/Abilities: He has a giant gun on his back (if that wasn't obvious)
Bio: One day, Sir Cand was at the pound in search of an evil companion. He gazed his eyes upon a full grown dalmation and immediately knew...he could connect a gun to it's spine. Now the two spend their days commiting petty crimes hoping to, one day, become the most well known villains in all of Western Philadelphia.
2) Name: Sir Cand L. Mannicus
Alias: Candle Man
Occupation: Villain
Weapons/Abilities: Fire can shoot out of candle head, can form candle wax body into any shape & form, can soften/harden candle wax at will, can shoot candle wax out of body
Bio: Raised in the kingdom of Candlelandia, Sir Cand was part of the royal family. Heir to the throne, in fact. There was only one problem...he refused to wear clothes. He didn't see a problem with it, since he didn't have anything to "cover up" per say, but, to his family, it was the principle of the matter. Banished from the land for refusing to follow one of the most important rules of the royal family, Sir Cand moved to the far off land of Western Philadelphia. He found it to be a magical place, filled with...well whatever Philadelphia has. Nobody understands what he sees in it. ANYWAY, filled with rage from being banished for something as petty as clothing, Sir Cand vowed to never put on any piece of clothing...ever. He also decided to become the best villain in Philadelphia, with the help of his adopted dog, Bad Dog.
3) Name: Axel K. Mation
Alias: The Exclamation
Occupation: Hero
Weapons/Abilities: Enhanced awareness, can lower others' awareness of surroundings, his presence, and any situation at hand
Bio: Raised in an orphanage, Axel was picked on by everyone. One day, he was trying to sneak out of the orohnage to run away, and he saw the care taker in one of the downstairs rooms, watching TV. He concentrated really hard on the fact that he hoped she wouldnt notice him. Right then, she got up to go to the kitchen. As she passed by, she looked right in his direction. He thought she saw him, but apparently not, because she just looked away and kept heading to the kitchen. He escaped the orphanage and grew up on the streets. He made his own superhero suit, and called himself The Exclamation. Once he had honed his abilities, Axel made a vow to help protect all the little people from the ones that would make them feel how he did in the orphanage.

So, here it is. I’ve finally made the FF (just a couple of figs). And with the recent series everyone’s been writing on their own, I’ll probably aim this as my next big project back to back with the JLA or Bronze Tiger.
Returning to a director’s chair isn’t an easy thing when I still have a Volume 2 of PA on my hands. I’ll just confirm it here, it’ll be set in the same universe like the rest. Genres range from sci fi, action, noir, thriller/techno-thriller and drama. And a multitude of profiles which I gotta make.
I guess it’s welcome to the family eh. From L to R: Lego Creationist, Sexy Beast, Milan van Steen, Multi (me) and Doctor Elite 19.
Maybe he’s a sidekick. A big helper. Who knows? And I’ve got a protege in the form of Milan, not Cheese. We’ll see how the roster grows because I could have more students as Sensei Sharp. Gotta make the rest of you as well, which I hope y’all like it.

If you get the chance, you should really go check his stream out, cuz he has some really amazing stuff you're missing out on. I would go on, but

Alright guys, I just toyed with PS Fix and Express, this is what I came up with. I looked back at the posts of Lego Creationist, who has some behind the scenes. I don’t usually do this, but as part of the new slate, I might give the heroes/villain’s and certain characters some better edits as I feel they serve intergral to the story’s plot, mood, atmosphere and etc.
You know what they say “A picture paints a thousand words.”
Tell me what you think about this edit, and I may be doing so moving forth. I only did the eyes, the energy generation, and the aura, which I don’t think it was totally well. Plus there is some saturation, opacity, lightning and other stuff.

Scarlet Spider: Just updated the 2016 Minifigure with Deadshot arms and Jay legs.

Real Name: Aishela Falangies
Gender: Female
Allegiance: Zuchted
Background: The majority of her family came from the country of Vorn, a rival country to Zuchted. So when it was said that Aishela was granted the Sword of Striking, and the Protector's Shield, along with becoming a Maiden of Zuchted, riots ensued. While Aishela was born in Zuchted, she wasn't truly worthy of being called a citizen of the country or a Maiden. At least that's what a lot of the citizens thought, as they wanted someone with Zuchted blood to have it. But she was chosen for a reason, and day by day, she fought to prove her worth. Some of the Maidens agree with the public, while some don't, which leads to conflict between them at points. Her sword allows her to increase the damage her and her allies inflict upon enemies, while her shield reduces damage taken for allies nearby.

Backstory: Twins Kaleb and Kelsea were the children of fighter pilots. One day when they were travelling to Europe for a vacation, when the plane they were on malfunctioned, and would end up crashing. To save Kelsea and Kaleb, their parents grabbed the parachutes, and strapped them onto the twins. They wouldn't realize this would act as the catalyst to activate the twins' powers. With Kaleb, he would soon learn of his ability to use rocket blasts as a way to propel himself to fly. He could also use this power during combat, to power up his punches (Kind of similar to Yang with her shotgun gauntlets from RWBY). As for Kelsea, she would be to have limited super speed on the ground, to build up momentum, for her to lift off into the air. From there, her super speed is disabled, but she's able to fly at ridiculous speeds. She has an aura around her, that allows for her to fire off in one direction like a bullet. After their parents death, they would move around orphanages, as they didn't have any other relatives that would take them in. This led to them becoming bitter at the world around them. With that, came the days where they decided to use their powers for their own good, as they weren't able to save their parents. Kelsea decided to call herself Skyfighter, as she preferred fighting in the sky, were she is more effective. Kaleb on the other hand, called himself Divebomb, likes to propel himself from the sky downwards, to feel the rush of air, before striking his opponents with his rocket powered punches.

Johan's Ark is a Noah's Ark-themed barge in Dordrecht, Netherlands, which was built by the Dutch building contractor, carpenter and creationist Johan Huibers. It is a full-scale interpretation of the biblical Ark, featuring animal models, including cows, penguins, a crocodile, and a giraffe.
Hi, guys, I'm back on flickr and so is the Catwoman series. I don't know how active I'll ve or how often the issues will be put out. I will try to post issues monthly, every 16th day of the month. There's no real reason for the date other than the fact that it's my lucky number😂.
As for the continuity of th series, it's a sequel to the first volume which is listed as EWSG Catwoman vol. 1.
I've been writing since July and the vol. 2 was supposed to come out in August, which is why I told everyone that it was coming soon.
However, I decided to take my time and work on the volume , so that it's better than the last one. There's 5 versions of the first issue and I pisted the one I thought was the best.
I appreciate every person who reads it and I hope you all enjoy the future issues. The character next to Kate Kane Catwoman in the picture is a new character that is going to appear later on in the series.
I will also post some of my art, only the drawings and paintings that I feel like are good enough to post.
I'm also catching up on all the issues I missed while I was gone, so don't be surprised if I fave or comment on an older post. I'm currently reading Lego Creationist's seties and the NOSG Spiderman series by canadian_brickster.

So the other day I tried to find a good way to explain my notes, I decided to make a mini comic for short, and I used Cyanide and Happiness, which sums this up in a nutshell perfectly in three panels.
I don’t usually do breakdowns, and I often say that I’ll post this kind of random stuff whenever I feel like it because I’m lazy, I’ll explain what actually happened and what “I” wrote (I know some of you guys didn’t get it and probably didn’t understand what it says.) I hope Cyanide and Happiness makes this easier for everyone to see.
First panel: Two dudes. One in blue and one in green, Blue represents the person who wrote the first note to the the second (actually called Knott, but I'll simply refer him to as Green) who reads it.
(Blue writes the first note. He says he has three days to live, which is coincidental because the whole purpose is that he has three days before a guy named Mr North will kill him, and before North can kill him he decides to finish a final job by killing a high ranking official, and by the official's death it will spark a secret war. He also doubts betraying to Green at first.)
The second panel: While "10 minutes earlier" sounds unrealistic and a little humorous, it actually refers to the day Blue doubted Green would kill him for his betrayal. All this crap happened two months ago before Blue wrote the letter to Green.
(Reason: Blue and Green are one of the last agents, and remnants of their disavowed agency. More explained below.)
Third panel: Blue's betrayal can be applied in this photo, and both are shown trying to kill each other, even though Green wants him dead but spared him for reasons.

Green doesn't care how Blue is devoted to him, and laments Blue is extremely dumb for saying all of this, even for his next move, but since that stuff already happens Green has to clear sh*t up for him. He says he doesn't expect forgiveness like that, barely enough time for redemption. Green's final words to Blue is that he'll fix it even if it's too late, he'll do this for Blue as friend and enemy, and will strike in four days, doubting if they will meet again, on the battlefield like the old days.)

Behemoth is a beast mentioned in Job 40:15–24. Suggested identities range from a mythological creature to an elephant, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, or buffalo. Some Young Earth creationists believe it to be a description of a dinosaur. Metaphorically, the name has come to be used for any extremely large or powerful entity.
