For this tutorial I am using 11/o Hex Cut Delicas, 15/o black seedies and 2mm Carnelian rounds (rounds in the picture are not what I ended up using LOL).
Also fireline, a beading needle and a stop bead.
Use the thread you prefer and any colour of beads you like, but try to keep to similar sizes.
If you dont have 2mm rounds you can use a larger seed bead, such as an 8/o or a 6/o

For several years we have been ministering with various tools God has birthed through Drama Queen Ministries. From DQK Scripture card activities, New Creation Butterfly Coloring activity, to Cross Penny Necklaces and DQK Rubber Bracelets we use these to show the girls and women at our live events how these tools can create an open door for sharing the gospel. God has a way of simply bringing those to us that He wants us to minister to. When we have our tools we are always prepared to deliver miracles on behalf of the King of Kings!
Being a miracle deliverer is a blast with Jesus! The DQK Tool Kits will be part of our DQK Birthday Parties and DIY Party Paks. They will also be used at all of our DQK Live Events!

Laurie, at Soapbox Creations issued a challenge to use a Pinterest photo as inspiration for a card. Here is my submission which uses PTI products as well as a flower that my sweet daughter crocheted for me!
There is lots of inspiration to be found at the Pinterest site as well as at Laurie's blog.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Since the 1960s several attempts have been made to interest the U.S. Air Force in a light-weight ground attack aircraft for use in low intensity conflicts and for counter insurgency operations. To date none of these efforts have resulted in the Air Force adopting such an aircraft. One of the attempts was begun in 1968 and ended in 1983 with the creation of the Piper PA-48 Enforcer.
In 1968, the Cavalier Aircraft Company proposed an updated version of the World War II era North American P-51 Mustang for the mission. The company modified two existing Mustangs with Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engines which greatly increased the plane’s speed and carrying capacity. Testing showed that the aircraft could effectively perform the mission but the Air Force did not order any. In an effort to push the concept forward Cavalier sold the design to Piper Aircraft in 1979. Piper redesigned the aircraft essentially from scratch and changed the engine to a Lycoming YT-55-L-9A turboprop and while the plane still greatly resembles a Mustang it shares less than 10% of its parts with the World War II fighter. Two Enforcers were built and first flew in 1983. While they were evaluated by the U.S. Air Force and again proved quite capable of performing their mission the Air Force chose not to pursue the concept. Both aircraft were retired by the end of 1984.

The 4th day of the Creation. Designs used for the wall paintings at St Michael and All Angels, Garton-on-the-Wolds.
Spotted on a wall in downtown Toronto. If you look closely you'll see all sorts of Canadian wildlife depicted. I seem to recall some sort of creation myth involving a giant snake but not sure if it's related or if this is something else entirely. If you know the story behind this please share.
I have been asked to document and help put together an exhibition of the journey to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for MKM Creations and PWP Design. So I had a very enjoyable day on Friday photographing them all at work on lots of different jobs!
