The main portal of the upper storey of St Chapelle (which opens on to a balcony) is a 19th century recreation/invention by Viollet le Duc, no doubt based on the genuine 13th century portals of nearby Notre Dame. The carvings however reward close examination, particularly the base reliefs below with Old Testament scenes framed by fine grotesque creatures in medieval fashion.
The famous St Chapelle is a medieval jewel box in stone and glass, one of the great masterpieces of Gothic art & architecture. The two storey royal chapel stands amidst the complex of the Palais de Justice in the centre of Paris (on the Ile de la Cite, close to Notre Dame). As a result one has to pass through security in order to visit the chapel.

Three sheets of paper used. The back two sheets were for the interior poles of the merry-go-round. One can push the Ferris wheel back and collapse the entire structure.

Kids creations from the Building Block Toys workshop on April 4th, 2009 at Juan de Fuca Rec Centre.
The kids were shown concept models which they copied with the supplied bricks and eventually turned it all into a house.
Concepts included wall, door, window, corner, t-joint, zig-zag wall, step pyramid, snot techniques, mosaic, brickbuilt objects and much more!

“Dynamic Female Energy within the principle of creation”
Shakti is a floor lamp with two lights for reading and ambient that
can be dimmed. The light diffuser is a laser cut extruded Plexiglas
tube, fixed into a satin finished or chrome plated base.
Thanks to the new technology of coextrusion Shakti’s light is always
white, even in the coloured versions.
Colours: white, orange, red, bougainville.
