This very modern stained glass window depicts the "Creation" and can be found in St Marys at Nantwich , Cheshire although dating back to the 12th century this was installed in the 1980's to commemorate the life of a local farmer who was a parishoner there, his figure is found in the trees on the left handside.
The hand of God at the top creating the sky, planets, creatures of the sky, land & sea etc, it really does work well even though a very modern piece.
Due to the low light, I created a new layer in photoshop then filled it with 50% grey, selected an overlay blend mode then was able to dodge & burn at about 8% without destroying the original. I've found this method gives so much more control .. If you've not tried it it is well worth giving it a go Smiley.

CREATION THEORY
Well I wasn’t going to paint tonight but I had a very small unfinished canvas that had been primed in Primary colors which you can see there is very little of in the completed painting.
I worked on CREATION THEORY for about 3 hours tonight and I almost gave up stopping, starting, painting, looking, not seeing anything emerging while I was channeling my uncontrived painting and I did not enjoy working on it.
So I grew tired and hung her to dry on the wall and thought I would see something in the painting if I shot some pictures of it.
So I shot it and edited the pictures then sat across the room to look at my new painting.
All of a sudden I saw it and I could see more and more within this small canvas. First I saw the face of GOD staring intently at a scholar who stands in the distance.
GODS hands is reaching forward beckoning calling out to the inattentive student.
The student is not paying attention and is grasping the Book of Life in their hands their gaze is fixed forward into the horizon towards The Tree of Knowledge. If you look closely The Tree of Knowledge sits high upon a hill surrounded by blue sky and paradise. You can see that the tree roots have joined a unity with the student’s body and at the base of this scholars feet lies the tiny blue seed of EARTH that is planted deep within the brown dirt and soil. You can see that this seed is waiting to be watered and is thirsting waiting for GOD, The Student and the Tree of Knowledge to Unify which will push forward the Birth of Evolution and the Creation of Humanity.

At 35x's magnification the elements of images found embedded within the quartz based cement fragment in the previous photo indicates two block type individuals in the lower half of this image field. The image on the right has a large angular nose taking on a masculine narrative. The image on the right has features smaller and more feminine bearing the symbol of the pyramidal triangle paired with the line of three symbols represented directly in front of the individual's luminescent face.
The individual on the right is bearing a helmet shaped headdress with a stream of light emitting from the helmet that transforms into the image of a blue figure most likely representing humanity with a pregnant belly. This is quite a profound image that was found embedded within an ancient quartz cement fragment that was pulled out of the ground less than two weeks ago; North America, culture unknown. Many questions and very few answers.
Notice in the background behind the figure on the right hovers a beaked ochre figure appearing to merge with the figure on the left as it transforms into a cloud-like image of light creating the blue human figure above, and producing an echo of blue figures rising into the sky/field above.
