Sur cette création, j’ai utilisé une photo de l’actrice « Halle Berry ». Je sais, on a beaucoup de mal à la reconnaître. J’aime beaucoup jouer à cache-cache avec mes images ^^

These pics are from a vintage drag race themed photo shoot with a 1965 Chevelle and 1970 Chevelle. The '65 Chevelle was restored in our shop here at Clean Cut Creations, the '70 Chevelle was built by our MAC Tool man. Both cars a local to the St. Louis area. We were forced to relocate because our Vintage Drag Race photo shoot looked a little too real and we were booted by the highway patrol. Even though we all had cameras and were detailing cars, they were sure they burn out marks on the street were from us!

Exposition FRANK GEHRY / LA FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON
L’inauguration de la Fondation Louis Vuitton est l’occasion de revenir sur une aventure architecturale extraordinaire, à travers une exposition consacrée à l’édifice de Frank Gehry. L’ambition est de proposer au public une immersion dans la genèse du projet et vise à présenter l’ensemble du travail de conception, des premières esquisses jusqu’à l’achèvement des travaux.
Aux côtés des dessins originaux, l’exposition réunit pour la première fois l’ensemble des maquettes réalisées au cours du projet. Elles sont organisées par groupe, retraçant l’étude des différents aspects du bâtiment : inscription dans le site, espaces intérieurs, volumétrie des voiles de verre, etc. Au centre de la galerie, une œuvre de grande dimension constitue un jalon essentiel. La « 1:50 confirmation model » est une maquette de validation, un maillon entre représentations physiques et modèles numériques. Le rôle de l’outil informatique est abordé, tout comme l’importance des efforts en recherches et développement ayant permis la mise au point des panneaux de Ductal et de verre, tous différents. Frank Gehry est l’un des pionniers dans l’emploi de logiciels appliqués à la construction ; avec la Fondation Louis Vuitton, il réalise un exemple exceptionnel d’architecture « non-standard ».

Dans la société du divertissement et de l’hyper-actualité, quel monstre d'images et d'irrésolu grandit en nous ?

One of the six Days of Creation windows in the north wall of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church in Bilton, Warwickshire.
This was my very first scheme of church windows installed in 1998-99 and one of my favourite projects, the windows being small in size but rich in subject and detail (and for once unfettered by any desire for something overly traditional which gave me a lot more freedom).
Originally built in 1958 on a traditional plan with an oblong nave and chancel in one chamber, the church was dramatically re-organised and extended in the early 1990s under the guidance of Fr Paul Chamberlain, wherein the axis of the church was re-orientated by 90 degrees with a centralised granite block altar in what was the heart of the old nave. The 'south' nave wall was removed to allow an extended aisle and ambulatory on this side. The former main entrance narthex was blocked up to create what is now the Blessed Sacrament chapel.
One of the most dramatic innovations in the re-ordered church is the full immersion fount, a cruciform marble pool set into the floor before the altar, evoking the earliest method of Christian Baptism by immersion in the River Jordan.
The two main stained glass windows on either side of the old nave were removed and re-sited in truncated form in the new extension, and in the place of the northern one a large crucifix (painted by Fr Chamberlain) has been set up as a focus behind the new altar. The six high windows on this wall are the latest addition to the church and are my own work from 1999.
