We were at a local garden park in Charlotte. There was a children's garden area. The sign in front of the area said it was 'closed.' Okay, I looked in and couldn't figure out why, so we went into the area. Teddy and Heidi were both on leashes that go out 15 feet. By the time I got to the end of the leash in the garden area, I found Teddy had stopped in his tracks for some reason. Then I found the reason. It was hot as Hades, and Teddy had decided to go for a quick, cool dip in the mud.
Lesson: When there is a sign saying an area is closed, obey it.
