There were some amazing errors in Six panoramic images I posted,

Errors Included Seven Photographs of a Cairn into One panorama to create Six pictures of the South Western Cairn at Balnuaran of Clava

www.flickr.com/photos/phhsykes/albums/72177720312289431

This note about the changes is partly here for me to remind myself which pictures had tree branches sprouting freely in the sky held there by clouds alone, amongst other bad edit signs glowing, flashing, jumping and screaming at me the editor that was obviously not in a good edit place.

The was singing quietly and I joined in as I saw the wonders opening up before me. Photoshop and I were suggesting ideas and the cairn was still an old, old song and so it went on. Then after colour and mono leaving out people and enhancing light and shade it was time for two paintings to be made. Suddenly Six versions are ready and the song goes with them to share with you wherever you are.

Created for TMI's "13" challenge and for the Hypothetical Awards' 2nd Annual ~ ARTYfishal artyFISHES ~ Underwater Art Challenge.

Created from a blank canvas.

Each fish painting (all done in Photoshop using a mouse) is based on a fish found in nature. Of course you would never find this assortment of fish all in the same environment since some are salt water and others fresh water dwellers. Nevertheless, they live happily together in my ichthyological fantasy ;-).

A view of a part of Arundel in West Sussex , in the foreground is the River Arun flowing through the town and we can see the ruins of Blackfriars Friary dating back to the 13th century with a Tudor looking building behind it . Then as we look up there is a jumble of tiled roofs with assorted chimneys until we reach the top with Arundel Cathedral ,----

Henry, 15th Duke of Norfolk, Earl Marshal, was responsible for the commissioning of the present building in December 1868. The architect was Joseph Hansom, known principally for invention of the Hansom Cab, who had designed a variety of Catholic churches, convents and other buildings.

Construction began in late 1869 in French Gothic style and was opened on 1 July 1873. Originally the church was dedicated to the sixteenth century Italian priest, St. Philip Neri (1515-1595). St. Philip’s was seen to be a parish church for the Catholic community of Arundel and the surrounding villages in the Diocese of Southwark. With Duke Henry’s devotion to St. Philip Neri, an altar was built with stained glass windows above showing scenes from his life as well as a statue.

With the new Diocese of Arundel and Brighton created in 1965 the church became a Cathedral, with the dedication changing to ‘Our Lady and St. Philip Neri.’ Subsequently in 1971, the remains of the martyred 13th Earl of Arundel, St. Philip Howard (1557-1595), were brought from the Fitzalan Chapel in the grounds of Arundel Castle and enshrined in the Cathedral.

The Cathedral’s dedication finally changed in 1973 to ‘Our Lady and St. Philip Howard’. This followed the canonisation of Philip Howard together with 39 English and Welsh martyrs of the Reformation on 25 October 1970.

Once a year the church celebrates the feast of Corpus Christi – the Body and Blood of Christ, 60 days after Easter. A world famous Carpet of Flowers is laid for visitors to see for a few days prior to the Mass and a procession of the Blessed Sacrament to Arundel Castle.

The Cathedral is the catholic parish church for local residents, as well as being the regular setting for Diocesan Masses and services. Concerts by local choral societies and organ recitals are also held throughout the year.

Out of sight though is the world famous Arundel Castle , a special place to us !!

The first impression that anyone gets from looking at this image is, oh! there was a fire. Or may be, this guy used a wierd photoshop technique to make the sky look like that... The story here is totally different. This is an early morning scene at Mt. Rainier National Park. The fog was so dense and thick that we didn't even get to see the Mt. Rainier. I was driving up and down the road when this distant scene caught my eye. Fog was rising up from the valley floor creating a drama in the sky. I pulled over and hooked in the telephoto. It was extremely difficult to shoot right at the sun and so I had to leave the sun out of the frame and those dust particles on the glass were a real nightmare too... Finally, I was able to pull out a clean shot. I do have a few more variations of this.
