I customized this classic Datsun by Matchbox, I used Createx pearlized green paint with a Iwata airbrush and I put on RealRiders wheels. This is the first time I have painted one of my diecast cars, it's amazing in the sunlight and really sparkles. It look so much better in person then I can ever capture in an image.

Some kid used a black pen on this truck, windows and wheels.

I repainted it with Createx pearl lime then with Emerald green Candy2o over that. I did get the black permanent marker off the window and wheels and reused them on the truck.

Trying to airbrush for the first time.

Each piece got a mask job similar to this before shading. Top plates were masked so the perimeter edge would be brighter.

Fun project. Paint order was as follows; black primer, black sparkle pearl, clear, selective cut and buff, Createx water based chrome logos, clear, cut and buff.

I finally finished her! I really love the way she turned out and I got to try out my awesome new Createx paints. More info is available on her in my profile links!

Starting small, I embroider the first spirals on a bucket hat crown. Using four strands of embroidery floss or two strands of size 12 perle cotton.

Recessed areas shaded with Createx Auto Air black & pearl gold.

This. Was. Terrifying.

Spraying this red was so much faster than the yellow. Covered in about 2 coats. With Createx Wicked colors, you can mask off without an intercoat clear after a few hours.

Iron Wig 2015 Dye Challenge

Originally a Matilda in Pure White F18

Dyed with: Tea dye, Sharpies, Copics, & createx airbrush paints

The pommel has areas of yellow and blue, and since it would take a billion coats of yellow to cover the blue areas, I'm starting with yellow first.
