Created for the Artistic Manipulation Group's MIXMASTER CHALLENGE #12 with Chef Temari's recipe:

➤ Your image must contain a HUMAN FACE (as in no mannequins) prominently featured. (If you include more of the body than just the face, it should be minimized in importance.)

➤ Your image must contain from 1-3 birds OR 1-3 wild animals and ...

➤ at least 1 of the Four Elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire) and ...

➤ at least 80% should be warm colors (reds/oranges/yellows/blends) but ...

➤ NO GRASS!

Last Sunday, I had the privilege of participating in a workshop called "Cameras and Dancers" where photographers were paired with dancers for the opportunity to shoot them in a myriad of poses. The location for the shoot was Union Station – a marvelous, historic building and the hub of Los Angeles's metro system.

I got so many wonderful shots that I expect you'll be seeing many manipulations of them in the next few weeks and over time.

For Sliders Sunday

Created this panorama from various shots I took of the river Wye in the beautiful village of Bakewell. Home of the famous Bakewell tart which of course we had to try. This part of Derbyshire is well worth a visit and I would recommend it to anyone. The scenery is something else.
