As you slide down the banister of life,

May the splinters never point in the wrong direction!

My very lame attempt to the sharing challenge but it's all I've got this week.

Hope to catch up with everyone's pictures soon.

It was a good one.

When I saw today's challenge, I had no excuse not to make time to participate because most of my Daily Challenge photos are taken in my backyard. Easy!

ABOUT THIS PIECE

Bubble bubble tea trouble Mcdouble. Heh..

Something wicked this way comes on the double double.

Babies taste better than tapioca pearls to me.

With my creepy crazy straw I suck em down you see.

Yeah.. I may be a monster but I have it going on.

Bitter Batter Brains is my new book on Amazon.

February 7th - Saturated Saturday!, "It's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights...", and The Letter G.

Animal!

G is for goofy gangsta.

Don't ask, because no - I don't know what exactly inspired this shot. Is this my interpretation of being a 'party animal'? Maybe... I don't know. I guess I just want to spice things up and maybe start doing more things out of my comfort zone; try to be more creative instead of boring.

Lines and patterns --that's the theme this month at camera club. Having grandkids means I have lots of kid stuff to use for fun pictures. Remember crazy straws?

To understand the process behind this image follow this link to the photoset.

It's worth reading, to give some context.

[Glass from Crate and Barrel, purchased for this particular photo.]

its great in L.A. when the wind is blowing on the weekend, so blue and nice with no smog in the air

"...they sashay and pirouette above you, the only thing I know is that I love you and I'm holding on..."

the picture was inspired by these lyrics from Alpha Incipiens by The Mountain Goats--an amazing song by an amazing band

also for FGR: I'm a Flickr Badass, because what's more badass than drinking liquor with crazy straws?

Nice job, Glen. These are like the coolest glasses that I've ever seen in my life. And look at the little non-conformist one! WANT.

The clear successor to the original Smoke-O-Nut, the double is more of the same! Instead of shoving a slide directly into the coconut and hoping for the best, this time we actually used a glass downstem to put the slide inside of. We used crazy straws for aesthetic reasons, but due to clogging I'd consider using McDonald's giant straight straws in the future.

All engineering credit goes to Ian, again, as he was project lead. Tools used: 1 drill bit, 1 butterfly knife, 1 mechanical pencil, 2 crazy straws, 2 coconuts, a downstem and a slide.

If ever you wonder "How should I drink this beverage?", the answer is always "Through a crazy straw!"

…is best enjoyed through a crazy straw.

So yet another crappy cell phone picture. I've got to work on taking my camera with me. Got these sippy cups at a dollar store yesterday, and came up with the great idea to fill them with alcohol and take them to the party. I knew they probably would only have beer there, so I came prepared! Ha! With me is Mayon, who is my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend. She's fun. I let her borrow my other sippy cup for the night.

The party was alright. I almost punched a bitch. It was super fucking hot, and I was dripping with sweat most of the night. Boyfriend got really drunk, he was hilarious. He gave me a lap dance and shook his big fake invisible boobies in my face.

Who doesn't love a man who love crazy straw? ;o;

"She doesn´t know what I do.......but she knows who I am" lollollol

Jenny, I can't believe he didn't cry in this one. I thought he certainly would.

my co-workers found this pack of crazy straws that included this little phallic number in it where i work... at walmart. of course i had to bring some home.

This crazy straw was one of the many fun door prizes given away at 94.3 The Point ’s Totally Awesome 80’s Party held at the legendary Jenks Club in Point Pleasant New Jersey. All of the décor was provided by New Jersey Event Planner, Kelly Heyn of SociaLife.

The next morning on the bar table.

Her dare was to find 13 silly straws that were being handed out at the ACLU/Google 80's party. She won.

It's that crazy straw again. This time without it's mates. Ref: D341-61

Matt's takeout cups, with crazy-straws...

Because one just wasn't crazy enough.

Had a great time stripping wallpaper, hanging with my good friend Kelly, and watching qualifications.

Please keep Felipe Massa in your prayers! Thankfully he is stable, but he is still in critical condition. He gave us all quite a scare today!

Sadie asked me to take this picture of her blowing bubbles into her OJ.

There's a spoon on the end! It's a crazy straw (the best kind of straw there is) and a spoon too!

Probably inspired by Ed Templeton's stuff

i remember when i was a kid, life revolved around a crazy straw- at least for the first ten minutes. my sister and i would always have to get a different color so that we wouldn't mistake who's was who's and of course after one of us lost ours, the other was immediately ours and you couldn't tell us any different... the only thing i ever hated was the plastic taste the first 1000 times you drank with one of these things... i always lost mine near my 999th time...
