Week 41 in 52 Weeks for Dogs. Tasku has a regular evening routine when she picks up the only toy that survives her teeth and prances around with it, barking and yodelling all the time.

Leo is getting sooo big and adding to his incredible speed, he's gaining agility, darting back and forth without running into things anymore.

Not a good thing I suppose because he gets into attack mode and thrashes Lucy when he can catch her. He's torn her skin several times.

We've tried to stop him, he learns a little and stops most times but he 'accidentally' forgets and starts again.

It's becoming a big problem.

We've tried the re-direction thing with other toys but nothing can take his focus off going for the throat.

I actually wish Lucy would put him in his place but she's too obsessed with the ball to care.

Anyway, I love the look on her face going after the ball! A must see large!

Today's We're Here Challenge: Crazy Faces

It was a relaxing day at home, except a quick shopping trip...and I took more photos! :oD

Before this photo I did not know that Eva could likely lick her own eyeball. I'm not sure she was aware of this either.

When I saw this one on the back of the camera I thought it would my fave of her set from the day. But, when it comes down to it I think I like the one I posted earlier because of the light, planted paw, and image quality (I needed to crop in a fair amount to this one so I reprocessed it three different times to try and get her face not looking too harsh/overly structured). The other photo is linked in the comments.

This is CrazyFace. Certainly a striking figure. The first thing you probably notice about him is that his entire head and face are tattooed, most notably with a torn clown mask safety pinned to his face. Of course there's the contacts and the many, many piecings and huge ear guages...

But for my money, the most extreme thing about CrazyFace is his eyes - not the contacts on his pupils - the "whites" or rather the reds.

CrazyFace had the white of his eyes tattooed a permanent, blazing red.

I have to say I'd never heard of that before. Turns out that it is painful as shit (go figure) but he said it only hurt for about four days when he had it done approx. 4 months ago. And no, he is not the only person to have this done, he said he's seen others...

Hard. Fuckin. Core!

The hereios of the We're Here! group are visiting the

Crazy Faces group today at the suggestion of amy's antics.

My son is home from Veterinary school for less than 24 hours on his way to a month long externship at Zoo Miami. I am on a plane at 6 am for a 4 day business trip tomorrow. It was dark before I realized I didn't take Owen's photo. So through my phone I went......and this could be my least fav shot this year. But THEN I look at Audrey's face. How in the WORLD will I EVER get one picture a week out of her?

* this could vie for my least favorite photo all year.......

Nathan and I picked up his sister Angela today and we went to visit their dad. This is what I would look like if I was in a car with a crazy driver or right before we went off a cliff!

Strobist: a Bowens 400 with a 1m softlighter off at 45/45 degrees of camera right. A white reflector off to camera right just out of frame to fill and a hand held reflector disc below the chin for a catch light in the eyes.

Leo is enthusiastic in all things. Agility included. This photo took about a billion attempts, and still isn't quite what I had in mind. But it's hilarious. lol. I don't know where his other leg is, and am pretty sure that this is the attempt where he nearly landed on my head.

In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.

Apparently, I like to be around teenagers. No, not really it's just my job.

The girl having the bat mitzvah (far right) invited her friends anf family to help her light these candles. She invited all 100 friends to help light the very last candle. It was another stampede but I knew I wanted this shot from the beginning and waited for the right moment.

Many of the boys were in that stage where they needed attention (see above). I'm so happy I'm not 13 and I'm so happy I don' t have to deal with young teenagers very often. They are a handful.

Making a crazy face

I'm gathering equipment and setting up to to shoot a circus act this weekend, so I haven't had much time to devote to my 365 or my favorite inspirational group. So I combined two themes.

What if I start with a neutral crazy graffiti background then add only neutral embellishments in fiber bits or stitching? It was looking too bland so I added the stuffed faces to give it some pop.

The first time I had painted my hair, I decided to take some pictures, I had to Flickr and all (have more pictures there at the end) ... looking so willing to give up painting again, just do not know if it would be red ...
