Ha! The alternative entry to Sydney's Luna Park.
This photo, taken in May 2023 with my Canon 5D Mk IV, was inspired by the metaphysical-style art of Giorgio de Chirico, with his use of shadows and illogical, mysterious, perspectives.

I LOVE the lead singer's cool blue hair and her absolutely sensational voice. Her name is Annalise Mahanes, and here she is with Gnarls Barkley's song 'Crazy'. And she even says 'Ha Ha Ha' in the lyrics, lol. Very gorgeous!!!

I think I'd call doing puzzles my hobby, along with Photography and numerous other things I enjoy doing. It was difficult to choose which one I liked over the others.

Here's a chrysanthemum that I bought yesterday. Behind it is a swatch of purple sequined fabric. The image is an 80-frame focus stack, blended with Helicon Focus.
There were some interesting clouds yesterday afternoon, so despite the piercing cold it was worth waiting for an hour or so to see if it was going to colour up. The best clouds were before the pinks arrived. Crazy little Thing is a Captain Beefheart favourite. I love these skies with different types and layers of clouds. It's a grey day today so I should probably think of doing some artwork.
For Crazy Tuesday! Two of these Albany mugs came in the mail. This one had the handle broken off in the shipping.
The angle I needed and the height the tripod had to reach didn’t work together. As I leaned over the wall, pushing my weight against my perilously-angled tripod, I was very aware of the very long drop down to the ground. Crazy thoughts went through my head.
Michael considers me a risk-taker and I think he was quite nervous of me ending up in this stupid position. I think this shot is worth it.
So, we’d arrived and taken the photographs without anyone seeing us. The whole time I was shooting we were listening out for the slightest noise, shrinking away from the edge to not be seen. We trotted back to the lift and relaxed as we were transported back to freedom.
Phew.
Except for when the lift doors opened, we stepped out and were immediately looking straight at the security guard sitting at their station. Without even looking at each other, we strode forwards, right past the guard and through the main door. Thank goodness we didn’t need to do anything to get back out.
We strode out and away, back into the darkness of the night.

I know, I know. Hong Kong, again! I’m not wealthy- I just keep spending all my money on going there. I don’t think they say ‘Fourth Times the Charm’ but this trip was just that - a success. For almost the entire time I kept my mental health issues at bay. It was a good trip. After three disasters - It is really nice to say that.

jetzt schaut er ob seine Vorstellung auch alle beeindruckt hat. Ich hab ihn vorher leider nicht fotografiert. Es gab die Vermutung das es ihm sehr schlecht geht. Er lag auf dem Rücken, ein Bein zur Seite gestreckt und ansonsten an den Zaun gedrückt. sah ziemlich verrenkt aus als würde er gleich das zeitliche segnen. und seine Partnerin saß unglücklich daneben. Ein Mann war dann weg gegangen und hat im Tierpark angerufen. Entwarnung, der sonnt sich nur... Als das geklärt war hat der Seriema seine "Vorstellung" abgebrochen und sich wieder normal hingesetzt und in die Runde geschaut
