When David Walsh got his architect to dream up a fantastical entry point to the underground dungeons (sorry, galleries) of MONA, they came up with two ideas. The first was that patrons would have to walk over a tennis court, and the second was that they would be bamboozled by their own distorted mirror image.
You can see the electric glass doors here are just beginning to open, surrounded by the crazy mirror.

Yes, it is mine...you know how you buy that piece of clothing in a foreign country because it looks so right there but on returning home you realize you will never wear it.
Well one year I was in London in January when Harrods had their crazy clearance sales, and the hat was just so fascinating. The next day the reality of packing it for the return trip hit me and I finally had to give up and wear it home.
This is where it all paid off. While I was waiting to board, the gate counter called me up and asked if I would mind being bumped to FIRST CLASS...not Business, but FIRST CLASS. Would I mind??? Well what an eye opener to see how the privileged travel. Most of my fellow first classer's were a rock band and their leggy blonde girlfriends, but it didn't interfere with my best flight ever (and I have been flying internationally since I was 7). It had to be the HAT! So every now and then I pull the hat from the back closet and dream about being bumped to first class again (which of course has never repeated)...hmm maybe I should start wearing it for all my flights.

Found a coyote laying in a snow field. We stopped to check it out and it just laid there. Thought maybe it had been hit by a car since it was so unfazed by us being there. Watched for a bit and then another car came along. Up jumps the coyote and takes off for the mountain.

My submission to CrAzY TuEsDaY for today’s theme RED Thank You to my Flickr friends for all of your visits, faves and comments!🙏 You all are so good with this hobby and I love to hear feedback about my photos, be-it a constructive one is very important to my learning process but I have yet to be enlightened on any on single photo. I’ve only taken up my hobby last year. I only have my iPhone right now. I wonder if I had a good camera if it would make a big difference. I play a game with myself, looking at a photo I admire I guess what make of camera that was used. I’m getting really good at this. Anything but TV to stimulate my mind. 🙏 BTW… When I call it a Nikon it 90% correct and if it’s not a Nikon, most likely it will be a Canon and Olympus is 3rd.
Mo (bottom left) is obsessed with keeping the ship clean. Well, that it his job. Have a look at little Mo in action :D ....

The turtle was purchased from a beach vendor in Punta Cana Dominican Republic.
Construction continues on Crazy Horse Memorial which was started in 1948. Crazy Horse was a Lakota warrior who was born a member of the Teton Sioux Tribe in about 1843. The memorial is located outside of Custer, South Dakota. It is being blasted and drilled from granite. When finished it is planned to be 641 feet long and 563 feet high.
