The Crave is a piano piece composed by famous American jazz-musician Jelly Roll Morton. I tried to use images of the streets of American cities of 1910-s and1920-s - the time when this jazz composition was popular.
The light in the windows show the flow of the melody. The monochromic palette represents the only instrument used - the piano.
The composition is presented as a concertina book. The general look is inspired by the old black and white photographs that became yellowish and brownish with time.
this is the first go with the promo for our annual student conference 'Crave'. I'mm pretty happy with this look so far. not finished with it quite yet and i may remove the two 'water damage' holes....note sure yet.
