SARRANS A SEC (21/ 21 )

Glaze cracks on an old table lamp base. The brass lamp socket is at top left.

Craquelure or Crackle glazes were first pioneered in China and Korea. After firing the ware was thermally stressed resulting in fine cracking of the glaze layer.

At first glance this looks oversharpened but the effect is only apparent on the roof surface and its "jpg artifact" like appearance is actually natural craquelure caused by the heat of the sun.

Empire Ranch – Sonoita, AZ

A close up of an antique and weathered tile with 3d decorations on the wall of a house. The little sphere is also made of ceramics, although it has a look of rusty iron. And the green leaves have a bit of dust.

It made me think of the presentation of a salad of a running buffet.

As a reminder, he's 18 years and almost 3 months old.

And if his tongue hangs to the side, it's because he has a malignant tumor (which fortunately he doesn't have) on his lower left gum.

Furthermore, it passes easily because he no longer has any teeth there.

Looking close on Friday's theme: Craquelure
