Yesterday when I took this there were no clouds just haze hanging close to the horizon. When the sun dropped below the horizon this is the result.
....so little time to capture them.

Another failed attempt.
This is from December 2019 as the eagles were trying to build their current nest . We watched these eagles try for over a month to get a branch to stay in this tree. They were unsuccessful and decided to move to the next tree over. This tree would of been a much better tree to get shots in than the tree they decided to build the next on.

Well of course I had to stick an alice song into my "Disney Songs" week. I was going to do "The Unbirthday Song" but I think that I'm going to save it for another time, perhaps I'll do an entire Alice week closer to the release of the new movie. I feel like I should have cloned out my tattoo....hrm...
So, I don't tend to get too wrapped up in pop culture goings on, but I watched a little clip of last night's MTV awards and wow Kanye West is a royal ass. Seriously, does it make anything better to barge in on someone else's proud moment and crap all over it? I hope he goes away soon, but sadly I'm sure he'll stick around to continue his annoying outbursts.

It was more of a literal crap reflection, as the air smelled like crap from the creek in Joliet Illinois. But the Warbonnet, and the rest of the lash up made the scene look decent. The BNSF local from Hodgkins-Joliet is seen backing up into the Joliet yard, with an amazing consist with the Warbonnet being the icing on the cake.
In our attempt to clean the house for a showing my boyfriend stashed some dirty dishes in the oven. But then he FORGOT about the dirty dishes in the oven and TURNED IT ON last night to cook himself some CHICKEN STRIPS. Here is the result of plastic containers in 400 degrees of heat. Needless to say the theme for the evening was "FUCKING HELL".
