Monday’s tea
When I woke up this morning, I decided to surprise my mum with a special cup of tea. My name is Qoo Rabbit.
Tuesday’s tea
I tiptoed into the garden and picked some farfigberry flowers. Those are her favorite, especially the pink ones.
Wednesday’s tea
Then I put the kettle on the stove and climbed onto a loaf of bread so I could reach the fancy teacups.
Thursday’s tea
Mum was still asleep when the kettle whistled. When I added the tea leaves, they smelled like honeysuckle gumdrops!
Friday’s tea
I took the cup and saucer upstairs. But on the top step, I tripped over my little brother’s toy gun.
Saturday’s tea
The tea spilled everywhere. So I cried. Mum looked down and said, “Dear Qoo, don’t you know the glass is half full?”
Sunday’s tea
I said, “But there isn’t one drop left in that teacup!” She just smiled and made me butterscotch pancakes.

Now that's she's received it, here's my #craftingconswap package. I had a great time with this one, my partner and I have so many common interests, it was hard to narrow down one fandom. I posted progress photos to keep myself honest and actually mail it because seriously, UP is one of my all-time favorite movies. I also made a couple little things for her kids and some fun little extras. 3 x matt gold star embellishments, quite chunky.
Two little train engine embellishments (with adhesive dot attached)

Felt square, bright ed, 9" x 9" (23.5cm x 23.5cm)
2 x gold bos, organza (I think!),
One red holographic box, fits CD, but I sometimes use for special cards with chunky embellishments.
Plus one secret gift!
I would like to receive, things like eyelets, brads, card or backing papers, mulberry paper in particular. Favourite colours, purples, greens and pinks.

Made for a personal swap. I sketched a drawing of a swallow from the Miami Ink website, then embroidered it by sewing the paper directly onto the pouch I crocheted. I then tore the paper away when I was done.
Little bag made for the Time for Tea swap featuring a hand-sewn felt cupcake adorned with seed bead sprinkles and embroidered detail.

The most wonderful things received in a craft swap I did recently! Clockwise from top left: Paris themed stickers; crochet project bag and yarn/needles to get me started; a gorgeous antique book (1894!) about Marie Antoinette; little Parisienne coffee/tea cozy (I needed one of these); floral clutch with pretty vintage button and a lovely Kleenex holder. Yay!

A swap that is all about B Movies, all the terrible 50’s B Movies filled with monsters , aliens, vampires, 50 foot women, badly designed tin foil robots, irradiated critters of all sizes. I have a great love of crappy horror and sci-fi films and I’m sure I’m not the only crafter out there who doesn’t love huge amounts of cheese in their movie viewing habits. So if you craft and love Dracula, Gort, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and pie tin spaceships then this is the swap for you!

Made for a Craftster craft swap with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. I had a great time making them (although they were very labor intensive). My craft swap partner never replied to say if she liked them or not. I assume that means no. :( Oh well. Lesson learned.
