Crack Metta: drawings #1-90
About a year ago, I was walking the dog through Edgewood Park in the early hours of the morning. I came across a bag of crack baggies - almost unused. There were about 90 of them. I picked them up and brought them home and I have been thinking about them ever since. I have always loved Candy Jernigan's work, so I think I kept them in homage to her. What can you do with baggies that are about 1 inch by 1 inch? It finally came to me after meditating – Metta (lovingkindness) drawings. Metta for New Haven's crack dealers, crack addicts, their families, me, and the community. I draw and I say Metta. Each one is approximately 1 inch by .75 inch.

I have popped the colours of the foliage by doing a fairly harsh infra-red treatment on the surrounding concrete.
You have track lighting, I have Crack Lighting. It's been going on several nights in a row now into early May 2007.

Now I'm curious about this program: how effective are the crack lights, what warrants their nightly placement, and what is the name of this BrightLight unit of the DC Metropolitan Police Unit called? What was the crime (violent, I assume) that spurred this? I've inquired at the DC.gov website to find out.

a crack in the hinge of my beautifull beautifull ds... apparently its a known issue
just an update, i apparently bought the warrenty from EBgames when i bought the ds... so i went in there and they jsut handed me a new one. (they wouldnt however trade it for a black ds) also i renewed my warranty and if it happens again i am gonna get me another new ds.
