There is beauty everywhere even in a baby's tears, an elderly persons crooked and wrinkled hands, your scars even the deep scars that no one else can see. They make us who we are or who we would like to be.

These pink crabapple trees smell so good and can brighten any mood. A great time to visit the Central Park Conservatory Garden, New York City.
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed to snow on the ground after a rather weird and upsetting dream.
Der Herbst ist immer unsere beste Zeit..
Es deutet die fallende Blüte dem Gärtner,
Daß die liebliche Frucht schwellend im Herbste gedeiht.

From my front yard, best viewed large. Thank you for your visits, faves and comments. Enjoy your day!
A handsome Cedar Waxwing posing for me in an ornamental crabapple tree. He looks a little put off with my presence. The vast majority of fruit has now disappeared from this tree. Between the robins and the waxwings it didn't stand a chance.

Hello everyone,
I decided to post another view of crabapple blossoms. I just love the colour of this variety and found myself taking way too many images. Since I took this photo, all of the blossoms have fallen away.
Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving me a comment. I do love hearing from you!
Have a marvelous day!

The robins can't get enough of these overwintered berries. Nice to have food for the migrating birds, but they need to be careful... Over the years I have witnessed a few birds get fairly tipsy from consuming too many fruit, some of which had fermented, turning its sugars into alcohol :)
This can happen with any fruit that stays on the vine/branch for an extended amount of time.
