It started with occasional freezing, then boot hang after mup.sys. While mucking around inside I removed the processor and reseated it improperly. Before long I had broken a pin off (lower left). Efforts to reattach it were futile, as were hopes that the pin was unused (per printed pinout). Eventually the whole box was declared a loss.

Got an older Intel CPU die from ebay to look at under the microscope. Grinding/dissolving to expose a die from a CPU was too much trouble, so I found someone selling these that never made it to being packaged.
I did a stress test on my iBook G4. This little iBook handles like no other. I had the stress test do the hardest test possible and i was running 4 safari windows, iChat ( was talking to people too), Mail, and iTunes. It ran perfect. It still ran increadibly smooth. I love this thing.

My new case is so well ventilated that it passes all the dust straight thru the fans and onto the CPU heatsink. Marvellous. This is 9 months worth of dust.

I think that has a nice air flow, but i got high cpu temperatures, even at night

One of the CPU chips out of an IBM Mainframe Type 9121 Model 311. This a large processor is 5 x 5 inches and a high gold content.
The newest bus in the Pullman fleet is Volvo B8RLE (Euro 6) MCV Evolution BV17 CPU which has been specially ordered to run the 36 service which links York with villages such as Elvington and Sutton on Derwent, the contract for route 36 has just been renewed with Pullman for a further 5 years. The bus has been given vinyl branding as 'My36' and includes a silhouette skyline of York's famous buildings along with a Lancaster Bomber flying overhead to note the 36's connections to and from the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington. On a saturday the final X36 journey in the late afternoon no longer runs, so to make use of existing vehicles and drivers this has been shifted onto the 197 raceday shuttle service (the only single decker running the 197 today), with the 197 board having now been added since the last time this ran on the service, and is seen at the rail station
