This is my first serious attempt at Macro. I used 68mm worth of extensions tubes on my AF-S 24-85mm VR since it stops down to f/29 instead of only f/16 like my 50mm prime. I didn't want to mess with trying to focus stack for just the hint more DOF that I wanted.
It's lit by 1 SB-800 which is on it's OEM stand on the table to camera left and is pointed at a wall to camera left about 2 feet away. It's set to 1/1 and 24mm zoom. The flash was triggered with a Neewer radio trigger. A homemade reflector made from aluminum foil is on the opposite side to provide a little fill.
Another attempt at star trails. Taken outside Alexandria in the farm lands where there was less light pollution. This one was shot for 45 min at 30 sec interval pictures.
Resolution on this one is fairly low considering treating a file with 90 layers is heavy on the CPU. In result I reduced the file dimensions to accelerate processing times.
Turned on it's back, like a rigged sheep, pins exposed!
It's a pentium 4 2.4GHz, if anyone cares. Was the best I could come up with for this week's Macro Monday challenge- rather lacking in imagination this week, and short of time.

Jupiter 11 a 135mm f4 @f5.6(ish) with 52mm extension tubes.
Continuing from yesterdays motherboard theme, this is a cpu facing off with its socket (from underneath). Intentionally thin dof to show off the bokeh in the reflected flash light.

I haven't had a lot of time to work on stuff coz there was a huge pile of work waiting for me back from vacation in Guam. The price we pay I guess. Anyway just a quick one. This is just an underground pedestrian intersection that I thought looked like the core of come supercomputer out of a movie like THX1138 or 2001. Ortoned this sucker to the limit just because I could. Ahh, that felt better.

Note : I used flash SB-29 mode M
And ISO 50
Configuration NON-CPU lens don't permit 120mm, I think it's the only one and nobody figured someone will use it again, so I configured as 135mm f/4.
SB-29 its old flash don't transmit any info to the camera EXIF when it's used in mode M or 1/4.
